I would personally say that this is not a complete beginners book, because there's a lot of information. Some of the chapters where a little hard to me, but if you expand on the information with google it can so much more helpful

i was surprised to see that AOE had a LPE, and the quality is very good for the price, tho its an older revision and lists and uses much older components which aren't available today, but the core concepts and ideas are the same. its a pretty solid book, still i wish there was a LPE for the 3rd edition. now about the book, this book is not suited for beginners. the book demands a strong hold on the basic concepts of electronics, and is more suited for practical application and understanding the core concepts of electronics. some people buy this book thinking its suitable for "IOT" "microcontrollers" but such things are more software than hardware, instead the book focuses on pure electronics. i would highly recommend this to electronics hobbyists who want to take a deep dive into electronics, this book is a gem.

Though many has given good reviews as the book starts with explaning fundamental logics behind electronics ,this book is actually not for beginners. The book which i got i think was a fake or counterfit one but the contents were exactly the same as the original one.The book focuses on giving a quick idea on different electronics components.For those who want to learn about the devices or the physics behind it they should try for a different book.The book can only be prescribed for educatonist,teachers or students having already idea of electronics.what the book provides us all is awesome practical knowledge of electronics . If anyone wants to understand practical electronics then go for it.Its the best one .But not recommended for undergraduate courses.

The book needs no introduction. This is the Holy book for electronics hobbyists across the world. If you are looking to buy one, think no more! This particular item is a paperback edition which is a good deal for the low price.

worth buying !! one of the best books for really understanding electronics.at least way better than the crappy local author books which does not do justice to the subject. the book is 1125 pages long and quite heavy ,the binding isnt good enough for the book this size but the content in it makes up for the books quality.

Made me fall in love with electronics again.

The content of the book is great however the way in which it is delivered often seems very vague and understanding a line takes a lot of time. Print quality is good....

A classic and legendary book. Newer versions are expensive so this is a good option.
