P21S 13005L Auto Wash Canister, 5 L, White Orange, 169 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

Use this to clean my engine bay and it does a great job. Gets things looking great without any scrubbing and brushing. If I need to deep clean an area that’s been doused in oil or coolant, I have other products for that…but this is great for a quick spray and wash with fantastic results. Doesn’t get any easier, and very affordable.

P21S makes a fabulous set of auto cleaning and detailing products; including two wheel cleaners (gel and liquid), Bodywork Shampoo (routine car wash) and this product: Total Auto Wash. Preparing a car to show in the annual Amelia Concours is tough tedious work and this is one of those products that really helps remove years of dirt, grease and grime. How we use it: I bought a sprayer that had the same size cap, long clear tube and fabulous spray head (purchased separately elsewhere). Spray it on. Don't be skimpy. Let it sit for a while, patience goes a long way. While one could possibly just rinse with a high powered water stream, I scrub the area with appropriate brushes and then rinse, not having to use a fire hose to get things clean. I simply don't know of a better overall auto cleaner than this. And yes we use all their products. Great company overall. I saw a video on YouTube about this p21s takes 5 minutes to clean your motor put a bag over the alternator so i researched the company made in Germany so i bought a big container of it haven’t cleaned my motor since i bought my 2019 Nissan frontier sv crew cab this p21s is great stuff cleaned the motor now looks brand new going to clean it every 5,000 miles after oil change so easy to put in a pump sprayer spray the motor to saturate everything leave on for a few minutes then rinse with a water hose then blew the motor off with a blower dry big things off with a dry towel you can’t go wrong with this product

I have to admit I bought this for a much dirtier job than regular engine cleaning, so my review is based on HEAVY grime. My new-to-me truck has an undercarriage with lots of grime and some surface rust on critical frame and suspension components, so I bought this to try it out and see how well it cleans off the grime layer so I can see exactly how bad the rust is. And I have to agree it works very well in getting layers of regular grime and dried grease off. It didn't clean everything spectacularly well, and it left some brake dust on the inside of the wheels despite a second application, but for the most part it did a good job and I'm pleased. I'll do additional applications underneath and see if it helps get more off. Eventually I'll need to de-rust and then undercoat the frame which will be a big job, but the first part is getting the underside clean and the P21S did a good job for that.

I've used this for years. From keeping the engine compartment of my car looking showroom clean to my home a/c condenser super clean. Dilute to the type of use. Rinses clean. So works great, easy to use and excellent quality and value.

I wish we would have gotten an before photo, so sorry about that missed opportunity. This worked as well as advertised, the ease of spraying it on and rinsing off was simple. As you can see it looks shiny and clean! We didn't use much so we have plenty left for many more uses.

I've been upgrading my car and was getting tired of having soot and grime on my arms, hands, and under my nails for weeks every time I worked on it... but as an adult with a career and family I don't have time to give it a proper detail. I found a video praising P21S for it's ability to fully clean an engine bay with minimal effort. It truly made a night and day difference in my use case. I just placed plastic bags over the alternator and intake filter, sprayed the whole engine bay down with P21S, and then used a garden hose with a low pressure nozzle to thoroughly rinse. I could not be happier with the results!
