I absolutely love the AromaTech Ambience Scent Diffuser in Terra-Cotta! From the moment I set it up, it transformed my space with a luxurious, even scent that lingers without being overpowering. I have been using this diffuser for over a week now and so far its the best one I've used and I've tried many (pura, aera, cheaper amazon and target ones). I live in a large home (almost 5300sq ft) and have this on our main level and it does a tremendous job of scenting it, even on one of the lower intensity and frequency intervals. I can smell it when I walk in the door and can even get a light whiff of it upstairs at the top of the staircase. I would never expect it to scent the whole home but was pleasantly surprised how well it did on our large main level. It's very quiet- you just hear a whisper of dispersion when the oil is released but much quieter than others. I appreciate the aesthetic design and it blends in nicely with my decor. The other thing worth noting is that while others have mentioned the app does not work with Android, and even their site says its coming soon for Android, the app does indeed support the device on an android phone. I have an android and was easily able to connect my device and set a schedule and change the intensity. I also appreciate that you could have several of the 60ml bottles of fragrance and essily swap out scents. Overall I really enjoy it and as long as it keeps working this has been the best I've used!

I bought this item after joining a new gym that had a scent diffuser when you first walk in. I thought this would be a nice relaxing scent to fill the home with. However, despite its hefty price tag the product smells awfully “perfumey” and would literally give me a headache. Even on the lightest setting it just smelled like cheap perfume and was not soothing, pleasant or calming at all.

I recently purchased this product with the anticipation that it would effectively cover my 870-square-foot living space, given its advertised coverage of 800 square feet. However, upon setting it up, which was remarkably easy, I found that it only managed to scent about 25 feet of the area. Despite allowing it to operate for several hours, there was no noticeable improvement in coverage. In light of this, I am contemplating returning the product and exploring the possibility of acquiring one with a broader coverage, perhaps around 4000 square feet, to ensure a more comprehensive and effective scent diffusion throughout my entire home. It appears that opting for a device with greater coverage might be key to achieving the desired aromatic ambiance in larger living spaces.

So far so good. Fills the entire living room/dining room (open space concept) about 630sqft but doesn’t overpower it. Santal scent is great.

Yes, it's pricey....and yes, it's beautiful, functional, and can make your home smell like a hotel. This diffuser is a nebulizer, so it atomizes the scented oil and disperses it. This is different from typical diffusers that disperses a fine mist of water that has been scented with drops of essential oil. This fact also means you go through scented oil much faster, but the scent is longer lasting. Although Aromatech recommends their own brand of scented oil, I choose to use my own mixtures so I can customize my scents. I also add a carrier oil like jojoba which is less expensive and mildly scented, allowing me to dilute my scented oils and get more bang for the buck. The oil is placed in a little glass bottle enclosed in the diffuser. The Aromatech diffuser comes with a light setting, which can be set to cool (blueish white), warm (orange), or off. It also comes factory set with the scent strength set to 3. You can change the light settings and turn it on/off manually, but to change the strength of the scent, you need to download the Aromatech app from the Apple store as presently, it is only available for iphones. I have an Android, but the Apple user in my home downloaded the app, which I then used to increase the scent strength to 4. To change the scent strengths, it modifies cycling times so it mists longer, and pauses for a shorter time. You go through oil faster as more of it is dispersed. The scent is not stronger per se, just more of it is present in the room. The app also allows you to schedule what days and/or times you wish to run it. There is a choice of up to 5 custom schedules, including letting it run 24/7. The outside of the unit is of a beautiful patterned ceramic, and the dark charcoal (also comes in white) allows it to stand out against a light surface, or hide in a dark corner. The light coming through the patterned holes adds another layer. This is the first nebulizer I have used and am impressed with the piece that delivers the scents, as much as the scent itself!
