I bought these to make rustic nativity sets for a ladies’ brunch craft. It was great! We used 3 pegs of various sizes to create the holy family, and every gal embellished their own with bits of ribbon and greenery. Such a fun way to use the pegs. Next time I will buy two sets to have the right ratio of heights of dolls. They are well-made pegs.

These unfinished peg dolls are amazing! There are no rough edges, splinters, or imperfections. I love the various sizes the come in. They arrived quickly and ready to paint. My daughter enjoyed playing with them before they were even decorated. I will be ordering more as they are great for gifts, DIY projects, and playtime!

Good quality items, & the count is as shown in the pics. They even threw in an extra, since I got 10 each of the 2 smallest ones, & 7 each of the 3 bigger ones, for a total of 41. Finish is nearly perfect. * All stood straight, with no fussing, & none are wobbly. * All are smooth to the touch, with very few rough spots, & those are very minor. * Size is very uniform across all types. * Color is good, clean, & no unfortunate brown blobs on anyone's face. (1 has streaks out of 41 pegs) * Paintable right out of the bag. * Made in The USA = willing to pay a bit more. These are very nicely done, if you need these dolls. I will say, it's a lot of money, & that's why it's not 5 stars, but only because of the price. The quality is right there. You couldn't ask for better. I'm quite happy with mine, & there's enough to last a while, so I shouldn't need to buy more, anytime soon. : )

Absolutely love these dolls. I wanted to use them to create customised gifts for my friends and they were great. It was great value for money since pack of 40 costed $16. I would have loved if the dolls were a little bigger in size. But over all they were great quality, great variation in sizes and smooth to paint upon.

I’ve used these for chess boards, creating pantheons of ancient deities to teach mythology, gnomes, miniature altar items for all different religious and spiritual paths.

I love this set of wooden peg dolls. They are well made and versatile. I painted them rainbow colors with non-toxic, child safe acrylic paint and it worked well! My baby enjoys playing with his rainbow friends! It did need a few coats of paint to look the way it did, but the wood grain showing through wasn’t a bad look either. I only used the two bigger sizes here and plan to keep the rest for later. I am excited about little art projects later on, as I can make them seasonal and matching for different occasions. I bought a set of 40 dolls. They came in one day (I did not use expedited shipping) and were exactly what we were hoping for. However, the numbers were not what I expected. I misread the product description and thought there would be eight families. Instead there were seven, and an assortment of extra kids, totalling 41 dolls, instead of the 40 I ordered. This worked out fine for my kids, so it was no problem. However, the next day, I got a very nice email from Cheryl, the seller, asking that I contact her with any problems, so I thought I'd mention the "discrepancy," just to bring it to her attention. She was very kind and helpful, and took the time to confirm that the description was accurate, even though she must have known that it was my error. So none of this really made a difference, but I appreciate that she took the time to make sure that a customer of even such a small order was satisfied. I don't know that I'll ever need more of these, but if I do, I will surely buy from this company again.

In my bag, I got 7 dads, 7 moms, 6 ‘girls’ (angel shaped), 11 younger brothers and 10 babies, for a total of 41 pieces. None of them were broken. They all seem of decent quality. It is to notice that the different shapes have different heights and different head size. The dads are larger with a bigger head, the moms are slimmer with a head smaller than the dads. The angel shaped girls and he younger brothers have similar headsize (but smaller than the moms), but the girls are taller than the brothers. The babies are tiny with a tiny head. Therefore, I feel none of these shapes are a perfect ‘pair’, if that is what you are looking for.

Great product. Good quality, nicely finished. Many sizes. I painted them for use in my kindergarten classroom. I created “families” of different sizes and variety of skin tones. I clear coated them and they look great. The kids love playing with them.

Quality is really good. The only reason i give it 4 stars is the sizes. Theres a lot of tiny ones which are hard to work with and are too small to have arou d a baby. I guess i should have read the description carefully.

My granddaughter loves these! She very quickly populated her two dollhouses with all 40 of these figures (5 different shapes / sizes) - and next step, she wants to paint them! We will paint them, but they are also gorgeous and lend themselves to imaginative play just as they are.
