Best dang case ever
At this point I've bought a SUPCASE for 3-different phones. Nexus 6, Nexus 6p (current), and a shared work iPhone at my job site. Can never be a better phone case brand to invest in. I loved my LifeProof case I had for an old iPhone 5 I got a couple years ago and it served me well, but for $100 I couldn't afford to keep investing in such a product every time I switched to a new phone (which isn't that often). However I came across this when I owned my Nexus 6 and when I tell you this case saved my phone... I mean it. At the time I was on my way for another deployment (military) and I dropped this thing and dropped it and all sorts of damage accrued, but when I took the case off when I changed phones to the Nexus 6p... No scratches (that weren't already there when I bought it (pre-owned). Phone screen never broke, shattered, and scratched. I plan on buying a SUPCASE when I upgrade again to the Pixel 5. There is no other case I trust more than a SUPCASE. I recommend it to any and everyone. Whether you're a traveler like me (whos a little buttery in the fingers) or an average day working. This phone case is for you. It's not exceedingly expensive, but the quality makes you think it is. The iPhone XR at my work place that is shared amongst my co-workers and myself... No one wanted to use it. Everyone was afraid of dropping it and breaking it. The company just gave the phone to us with no insurance or case and expected for us to use it for traveling or in-house... So I went out of my way and get a SUPCASE for it. No one complained and in fact they all love it. It doesn't stop any Qi wireless charging. It has a snappy belt clip cover; and the prop works great. Doesn't slip and it snaps in-and-out easily. Test dropped. Scared my co workers, but proved to them that it's the best phone case they'll ever see.

Great product! Great deal for the money!
This is the third case I’ve bought by this company. That tells you how much I love it! I’m hard on my iPhone so a good case is a must. A reasonable price is also a must as like most of us, I don’t have money to burn. This case is water RESISTANT: not water PROOF. That said, I’ve dropped this in my coffee cup more than once (I know: KLUTZ) I removed it immediately and removed the case. No damage was done to my phone and just a drop of coffee was on the face. I’ve also got stuck out in a hurricane, getting totally drenched and again, just a small amount of water got under the case by the camera hole. Upon getting home I took off the case and wiped down the phone. No damage. The case is thick and slightly heavy. This is something I love and need as my iPhone tends to slip out of my hand if I don’t have a substantial weight and thickness to it. I’ve dropped it many time (as I said, this is my third case) and I’ve never damaged my phone. The rubber bumper around the edges is thick and tough. It takes a beating and still looks great! It protects the camera as well as the face. I love the weight and thickness of it. (Did I say that already? Lol!) Another must for me is a kickstand. I haven’t tried those ones with the little ring on the back because I watch YouTube videos and always turn my phone sideways. I want a substantial kickstand for this. I’m not sure how the little ring ones may hold up. The only CON I have is I wish they could make the kickstand sturdier, better, as over time it loosens up and tends to fall as you stand it up. It also tends to pop out falling off the back. Truthfully, the main reason I had to replace the other two cases is because the kickstand failed (but I did have each case for about two years) For the price I feel it’s a great deal for a great case! (Even with the kickstand issue) Many other military grade cases, waterproof cases are great but totally out of my price range. This is a happy medium. I totally recommend this case and know I will repurchase another as I need in the future.

Case is amazingly well built and the stand/holder is a brilliant design.
This case looks amazing, almost like a fancy car paint job. it is extremely sturdy with both front and back protection. There is a movable plastic stand that is the best i've seen in a phone so far. It is two pieces of plastic that slide down and out to form a hinge or a handle replacing the pop sockets people like to attach it to their hand. The hinge allows it to stand vertical or horizontal which is very nice. We will be buying these from now on. The iphone XR and iphone Xs are so fragile on front and back, we had a case in the past that was just clear plastic with a pop socket on it, one drop and the entire back shattered while in the case from the single point of pressure where the pop socket was attached. So something like this with it all built in and durable makes sense. It does add bulk and heft to the phone though so it takes away from Apple's thin and light design. But for teenagers who play outside and drop their phones and watch youtube and love pop sockets this is the best case i've seen that checks all those boxes and at a great price.

Color Is Hard On Computers, However...
First, overall this is a great product, and I'm not shopping for a replacement (unless I learn I miss ordered, as I will be asking a couple questions of the seller, and will update). But the color I see on my screen is significantly different than what I got. I ordered purple; I have something paler, and closer to lavender, than I was expecting. It's not pink, but I'd say it's somewhere between the purple and the pink I see on the screen. The phone projection is job one, and it does hold up there--with one small concern, which is that the screen cover is noticeably more pliant and 'sticky' that the previous one Unicorn Beetle case I ordered, making it feel a bit more plasticy than on the other case. I don't know what this will do to scratch resistance as I have no intent of intentionally testing that, but I will say it holds up to regular use and being in my bag/coat pocket fine. However, as aesthetics are the second reason I selected this, I'm thinking of exchanging it for a black one, unless I am wrong about which color I have and there is a darker purple available. Also I'm not sure if there's some sort of item difference to get a better-feeling screen protector, but I'll be reviewing the options, and talking to the seller to figure out what my options might be. But again: **the durability is outstanding**, the design is (other than color and the screen protector) actually superior to the previous one, and I'm not sure I can't come to enjoy the color in all honesty. I don't have regrets so much as confusions to sort out, and I will update this once I've gotten what I need to know sorted. IF you are aware of the color issue, I can recommend this case without reservations, which is why it still has a high star rating (it would be 4.5 if they let us over-specify). So the case is a delight, the color might be a surprise, and I will report back if there's a distinction that accounts for the difference in the screen protectors.

Great! but a compromise
I already have this super protective case on the S7 edge since S7 edge was released and it had saved the phone from many a drop and throw, I have a toddler who practices catch with the phone. So when I bought an XR, I thought why not protect the investment, it’s not the costliest iphone but these things are nowhere cheap. I haven’t had any drops yet with the XR so no comments on that. There are other reviews out here that says drops cause the back of the phone to crack. For now the build quality is meeting UB’s reputation that I am familiar with. The screen protector does seem a little cheap and I am hoping it will just serve to do away with scratches and the raised lips are to do the rest of the screen protection, so careful walking on rough/rocky terrains. Install was super easy. Charging hole and speakers are not blocked. The mute button however has become a little difficult to access, I never use it personally though. Now, it does add BULK to the already bulky phone, especially for smaller hands. One hand usage maybe limited. if you’re a leftie, the send buttons may need use of your right hand since the one hand keyboard built into XR helps only with typing. Surprisingly, I am finding myself use the one feature I thought I would never use with this case - the pull out back stand. Since the case makes the phone the heaviest ever, the stand comes in very handy on the desk. Hope the construction around it is durable. Update Day 2: Rainbow films inside screen protector film. Moisture or a drop of water on the screen seeps in and leaves not-so-pretty rainbow rings that needs you to remove the case and dry/wipe it. Calls for better design thoughts UB folks. Dropping 1 star.

Great case with a couple of issues, I still am giving it 5 stars!
I bought this case a year ago, and after getting a properly attached steel plate for my magnetic car holder, I pretty much loved it. But first, the bad: - The door for the lightning port was too stiff and harmed my lightning cable. My solution was to cut it off, and my XR is generally water resistant, and it is not that important. - After a year of use the kickstand broke. Frankly, that is no too bad, with as much as use the kickstand. One of the little tabs broke, and the kickstand and the ability to attach to the phone to the magnetic mount was compromised. The top of the kickstand is where the magnetic plate is, so I had to purchase a new case. So I bought a new Unicorn Pro case! The second case was much easier to attach a new magnetic plate! The plate I used previously, required heavy duty double backed tape. With the second case, the adhesive on the plate was all that was needed to properly stick on the plate to the top of the kickstand. Further, the Lightning port flap was not as stiff, and works great. Of course, the new kickstand is very stiff, and I popped the kickstand off the track! I contacted Supcase, and they are replacing the case, no questions asked! Great service. The lesson here is when disengaging the kickstand, press the underneath the middle of the top of the stand up, so it is easy to disengage. That will prevent the top of the stand from popping out.

Case is great, Screen Protector scratches
I have used Ballistic Cases in the past for my iPhone 3, 4 & 5. I went to the XR since Apple left me stranded on the old OS. Since they insist we all need bigger phones, the cases seem to be slimmer, but still impossible to operate with 1 hand (and mine are not small). This case caught my eye as being tough, and it is. I was hopeful that the screen protector would be good enough, but I'll probably have to somehow cut it out and use a glass protector. It'll be fine if it works. The screen protector showed scratches at the end of the 1st day, from being in my pocket with a key :( My fault, I admit, but still disappointing. It's not as 'sticky' or slip-resistant as I'd hoped. I was used to setting my phone on un-even surfaces at sometimes bad angles, and the Ballistic Case would keep it in-place, despite years of wear and tear. This one just has several gripping spots, not the whole case, and therefore isn't up to the task. But, it's tough and does it's job. I'd buy it again. It does a better job than Ballistic for keeping dust out of the space between the screen and protector, but again, I'll probably have to remove that anyway.

too much protection?
I do have a place in my heart for how rugged this thing looks. And I feel like I can finally take my phone out of the house and be at peace knowing my brand new phone is secure. I love this case in theory, but it’s already proving annoying on first impression (just got it today). Preface: I’m a 24 year old, fairly feminine woman. I’m not particularly clumsy, but I’ve had enough cracked screens to prioritize damage prevention. That said: • The screen and back camera openings are beveled, which is great because it means less chance those will experience damage, but makes it annoying to use the phone. My hands are small, and I feel like it’s a whole thing now to text and scroll and stuff. • I hate the kick stand. I wear short to medium length acryclic nails usually and I cannot get it to slide open without prying it. This damages the metallic coating, though. This is enough to remove a star for me because I like to use my phone propped up at least half the day, especially now that my new phone is so much heavier than my old one. Another thing I noticed is that the kickstand makes me realize how cheap the material of this case is. • The little decorative bolts on the back have little bones on them, like bone insignias. This is so ugly to me. • A sticker that came on the screen left residue, and on the iPhone XR and other newer iPhone models you have to swipe up to go home in lieu of the home button. So the residue has made this entirely unpleasant and I haven’t been able to clean it off despite trying for several minutes. • I feel like it made my phone way heavier and bulkier (I know this is to be expected). When shopping I was prioritizing protection and did not realize that a slim profile was more to my liking. Overall, I do think this is a decent case. I think it’s worth at least $5 less than it cost me (about $21 at the time) because the material is cheap, the kickstand is a pain, the belt clip renders my phone a huge ugly plastic brick, and for a user with small hands and feminine tastes it just doesn’t really make me happy. What does make me happy is that it seems like hardcore protection. If you’re not feminine with small hands you probably won’t hate it like I do. I can see it as being good for pretty active people too. I’m probably going to use it for awhile and then I’m just going to buy a pack of screen protectors and a pretty slender case that will show my phone’s color and have a ring holder attached, and keep this case in a drawer for when I anticipate hardcore activities like hiking or hanging out with children. I realize for my day to day life I’m not really in need of such intense protection. My joy is to enjoy my phone, for its functions but also its aesthetic. tldr: if you’re a girly girl who lives a chill life and want some basic protection, or even just a person who has small hands or doesn’t like bulk, get a clear case or just a slimmer case + a screen protector + maybe a pop socket or ring holder. If you’re someone who is prone to dropping their phone, shattering screens, someone who’s active, someone who clips their phone to their belt, and someone who doesn’t have acrylic nails... enjoy this super heavy duty Transformer-lookin case.
