Turtle Beach Elite Pro 2 Gaming Headset Plus SuperAmp - Xbox One

I was a bit sceptical about getting these due to some of the negative reviews but took the punt and purchased them anyway. But after a few days of using them I can't fault these at all, extremely comfy and it doesn't need to plug into your controller to use in a party. Sound quality is excellent too. The extra perk which I love is it connects to your phone at the same time as gaming, so if your in an intense game you can answer a call easily. No negative thoughts on this so I see no reason why to give it lower than a 5*. If you were in doubt like me then trust me, give them a go.

DO NOT BUY I bought these to replace my dying ASTRO A50s Gen 3, this headset it complete rubbish, I fined tuned everything to make it as loud as possible but still no where near as loud as my A50s I have since retuned them and got a full refund. The sound quality on them is awful, when you turn the volume dial anything below 80% you will not hear anything. All the way on max volume and it sounds average at best, but again no where near as my superior Astro A50 Gen 3s. It’s such a shame I loved the look and premium feel but my god the sound is awful get the Astro A50 Gen 4s while you can. You will not be disappointed like I was when I tried using this BS headset!! I don’t understand why more gamers haven’t complained about the poor and low volume when turned to max settings? Any questions please contact me I will reply ASAP! Please please please buy the Astro A50 Gen 4s!!! These are the real winners, the sound quality is far superior, pin point accurate, very high quality audio in terms of voice chat and game audio. I cannot stress enough how amazing the A50 gen 4s are!!!! Do not bother buying this headset you’ll only regret it, seriously buy the Astro A50 Gen 4s!!!!

Ok, this is my 1st ever set of gaming headphones and I did my research. I was going to get the Astro's A50 but read far too many bad reviews on the gen4 about disconnection so I opted for these (yes people moaned about them being too quiet) But my experience was good enough to start with and I will admit that although the highest volume possible was fine for me I could see that they could go up a few notches. So before slagging these off I decided to update the firmware on them as prompted by the mobile app when connected to the headset, once this was done then the volume was increased by an extra 25% IMO, so maybe that's all people needed to do before saying they were not loud enough? Anyway I am happy with them.

My biggest issue with this headset is the mic is overly sensitive. Even fiddling with the settings means my teammates can hear all the game sounds coming from my mic. Even if the game volume is low and the mic is as far away from the ear cups as possible. It’s incredibly annoying for everyone else, and they can also hear their voices as an echo from my end. The amp is easy to use and doesn’t feel cheap, but for some daft reason Turtle Beach has put all settings except the volume on an app on your phone. The amp only controls the volume. The mute button is on a cable which is fiddly to mute in a sneeze and usually end up deafening my teammates before I can mute it! The comfort level is amazing. The cooling ear cups are a nice touch and I gamed for hours without any discomfort across the top of my head or around my ears. I still own my Turtle Beach PX5 headset from 2011. It has 7.1 surround sound (a lot of Xbox headphones don’t have that these days because Microsoft have done their own “surround sound” which doesn’t compare), and is wireless except for the chat cable which plugs into the controller. The only reason for finding a replacement is after so long the headband has stretched and it’s no longer a tight enough fit and sound escapes a little. If I could find another pair of those brand new, I wouldn’t even consider the newer models. It’s awful that it’s 2020 and Turtle Beach have been making some god awful headsets since then. If I could justify £250 on a headset, I’d go for the Astro A50s latest gen. Totally wireless, AND has 7.1 Dolby surround sound and two years subscription to the Dolby service via your Xbox or PC. If you can afford the extra, go for the Astros.

Honestly dont see why everyone else is complaining these headphones sound brilliant and the sound is very clear, they are not the loudest but they are not quiet either would definitely recommend would put them on par with the 800x steath elite just wired my only complaint is the hub but the standard headphone adapter for the controllers works just as well but u wont have bluetooth but overall they work as intended and might not be the loudest but are not as bad as the other reviews make them out to be

Allen voran nutze ich das Headset un den Super AMP an der Xbox One. Ab und zu auch am PC. Hier leider das erste und einzige richtige Manko: Man muss es über die Turtle Beach App zwischen PC und XBOX immer umschalten. Das Gerät kann nicht selbstständig zuordnen. Der Klang ist super. Wie von Turtle Beach versprochen gibt es klaren, deutlichen Sound. Die Bässe und Tiefen kann man über die App konfigurieren und sind für Gaming absolut Top! Ich spiele Battlefield 5 mit dem Headset und muss sagen, dass das Game alles aus dem Headset herausholt. Das Einschlagen von Kugeln, Explosionen und Schreie kann man auch ohne Superhuman-Hearing sehr gut räumlich wahrnehmen. Für Games also auf jeden Fall geeignet! Es gibt diverse Modi und Einstellungen in der App, so dass man das Headset seinen Wünschen anpassen kann. Das Mikrofon hat eine gute empfindlichkeit, dennoch stören Umgebungsgeräusche nicht, da man über die App ein Noise-Cancelling einschalten kann. Dann gibt es nicht einmal das Grundrauschen des Mikrofons. Für Chats wie Discord, Skype oder Xbox Live Party ist das Headset und das Mikrofon auch sehr geeignet. Leider ist das Headset Kabel gebunden. Das Kabel verbindet sich mit der Konsole selbst. Eine Verbindung zum Controller wird nicht benötigt. Wen das nicht stört, der kann ruhig zu diesem Headset greifen. Ich für meinen Teil bin sehr überzeugt!

I really have two reviews to write, one on the headset and one on the company that I bought it from. I would like to start on the company that I bought it from. I am impressed with Goldstar Tech Store... this is the first time that I have bought a used item from a vendor on Amazon and I am truly impressed. The container it came in was in very good shape, better shape than I expected. The listing said the box would be damaged and it was hardly damaged at all. The headset and amp came with all cables packaged correctly. I will buy from Goldstar Tech Store in the future. I have bought several Turtle Beach Headsets and in each case they have broke... typically on the left ear piece the plastic just stress fractured. In the case of the Elite Pro 2 it fits well and is very comfortable. The ear cushions come off for easy cleaning and are held in place with magnets. In my opinion the sound quality is excellent whether it's Joe Bonamassa or SWTOR. The only thing I have not been able to get working is the Game/Chat mix on the Amp but that is a minor issue that does not detract from my overall satisfaction. I recommend the Elite Pro 2 and Amp and I recommend purchasing from GoldStar Tech Store.

Ya llevo un par de semanas con ellos, antes había pedidos los hypex x, pero no me gustaron tanto, pedí estos por qué los vi a buen precio y preguntado a mis amigos me los recomendaron. Al principio pensé que el super amp no funcionaba pero tenía que conectarlo a mi laptop, actualizarlo y listo. Use una semana los audífonos sin el super amp conectados directo al mando por el Jack 3.5 y su sonido era bastante bueno, claro y fuerte sin distorsion. Después lo usé con el super amp y con el sistema Dolby Atmos de xbox con el que también son compatibles y el sonido fue aún mejor, en juegos como raimbown six y warzone en donde necesitas escuchar muy bien los pasos del oponente fue donde note ampliamente el cambio y más con la ayuda del super amp que te da la opción de amplificar esos sonidos y con el ecualizador del Dolby es una maravilla. Los audífonos son de buena calidad, me gusta sus almohadillas que aún usando lentes son cómodas y no provocan tanto calor en las orejas y aíslan muy bien el ruido externo. Los cables son lo bastante largos para moverse con libertad. La presión en la cabeza es muy buena sin llegar a ser tan fuerte pero tan poco tan blanda que que se estén callendo por cualquier movimiento. Algo malo no se si sea por culpa de mi teléfono es que a veces el Bluetooth no reconoce la app y tengo que prender y apagar el Bluetooth y buscar el super amp para que se conecte, pero solo me a pasado 2 veces. Son algo pesados a comparación de los hyper x. Me hubiera gustado que el muteo del micro fuera un botón en el super amp o en los audífonos y no el cable. En términos generales son unos audífonos que por el precio que pagué se me hacen muy buenos por calidad de material, calidad de sonido, por compatibilidad con Windows Sonic y Dolby Atmos. Y por la ayuda del super amp y de la app que te hace más fácil ajustar el party chat y puedes usarlo como manos libres y escuchar música a través del teléfono.

So I've had mine for a couple days now and so far I love this headset. First this headset is very comfortable, I've worn them for around 6 hour play sessions with zero discomfort. The ear cushions are very thick and feel great plus they have some sort of cooling gel. The top head band is comfy and the size adjustment seems to have a good range, I have a big head and they fit me perfectly. Second the Audio quality is top tier and the mic quality is passable, I've tested this on Xbox and PC. The super amp is useful and the Bluetooth is kinda convenient honestly though if I had a choice I would pay $100 less and just not gotten it. The turtle beach audio hub works on the fly but I personally haven't seen the need to mess with any of the settings yet. Third and most importantly for turtle beaches in particular is the overall build quality (TB's are notorious for the ear cups snapping off the headband). Now take this with a grain of salt because I've only had them a few days however these feel and seem to be very very durable. Also the headset + amp look great. As in the title my final rating is 9.5/10, I've owned 2 sets of turtle beaches before and have always loved them and been a loyal customer. My first set was the x 11's back in the day and then the Turtle Beach ear force XO SEVEN Pro back in 2016, I'm mainly game on my PC nowadays so that's what i'm using these for now. heads up if you are using these for PC or even Xbox you might wanna check out the ATLAS version its the same headset without the amp for much cheaper. PS When you get these make sure to plug in the cord and mic in the headset ALL THE WAY they aren't broken just not plugged in enough.
