Can I eat a steak on the table when it's lifted? I am worried that lots of movement from my knife on the steak will make the lifted part collapses.

Despite the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised as to the strength of this table when lifted. I’ve only had it for a few days, but I can already tell that it’s super strong. I’ve eaten off it without any problem. I could stand up and put all my pressure on it without any problems. The way it’s built - it goes up and out - I really don’t see why or how it would collapse.

I plan to line the inside of this table with ice so I can store fresh seafood. Once table is erect, will it provide a stable surface to fillet bass?

Can this material be stained a different color? for example, cherry?
