Fun Little Nostalgia
It's a Duncan yoyo, what's not to love, especially for the old school memories. The design is kind of similar to a cross between an imperial and a butterfly style. You're not going to get incredible sleepers on it like you will with some of the modern designs, but it does have a trans-axle system which helps it spin a little longer than the old school yoyos. You're not gonna be pulling off any major string tricks, but it's great for looping and throwing. Design is cool looking and unique, and material seems well crafted. Still a lot of fun, and takes me back. Fantastic for beginners to get down the essentials!

Just buy a Butterfly XT
Fine but nothing really special about it. Good: Really cool dark red color. -Rounded off edges feel nice to hold. Not so good: -Niether snappy and responsive or smooth to sleep very long for string tricks. Feels very middle of the road and ends up not good at either. -Transaxel and starburst return combo makes it so its a bit noisy (sounds vintage though so same might like that), Overall: Bought this because I thought itd be smaller than butterfly style yoyos but the pics made it look deceptively skinny. For the same size, price, and to have the benefit of a ball bearing axel i'd just get the butterfly xt which is probably a better beginner yo yo. *Pictured next to a butterfly and looping/H style proyo. Have fun!

Awesome throwback yo-yo
My friends and I all carried yo-yos around in our backpacks back in middle school and threw them between classes. Back then my main throw was the Yomega Fireball. Fast forward to my mid-30s, and for some reason I decided to see if I was still any good at yo-yoing. I went a bit overboard and decided to purchase four yo-yos: a new Yomega Fireball, Yomega Raider, Duncan Hornet, and Duncan Dragonfly. Out of the four of them, the Dragonfly performed the best. I got the best sleep times out of the Dragonfly, which was surprising given that two of the yo-yos (Raider and Hornet) had ball bearings which are supposed to provide ultra-long sleeps. The cotton string on the Dragonfly was also the most comfortable compared to the strings on the others. I understand that Duncan recently discontinued the Dragonfly. I hope to purchase one more before their stock is depleted. It's a great value for folks looking for a bit of nostalgia.

A great yoyo and a good price too
An excellent yoyo, more heavy than the butterfly and hornet, good balance and nice colors, a solid design

Not as good as past units
Simple toy, obviously, but balance seems off. Consistently travels at an angle, so poor return to hand, difficult to perform tricks. Had an older butterfly yo-yo years ago, never had an issue like this.
