Yes to test water resistance, but I wanted to say that I bought this for me laptop bag which must be 44l but I wanted large size so this said upto 50l, and this was one among few that were delivering soon (I needed it urgently). So for stuffed 44l bag it just somewhat fits. If your using for regular filled bag it will fit for sure. Do not buy for large bags
