This Rev-a-Shelf pull-out drawer for kitchen garbage cans is an awesome product. I’m specifically reviewing the Rev-A-Shelf 53WC-1835SCDM-212 Double 35 Quart Pull-Out Under Mount Kitchen Waste Container Trash Cans with Soft-Close Slide. We had a very old mount which held the waste and recycling bins from above and it had failed. Once I removed it from the front cabinet door and the side walls of the cabinet space we discarded the old unit. We really liked the hidden nature that a slider provides in this situation so I began looking around for a replacement. The Rev-a-Shelf products had great reviews and the idea of a bottom mount slider seemed like a good way to go, mostly because it would be easier for me to install than the hanging version we had previously. I measured the space carefully and determined that there was a Rev-a-Shelf model that would fit. It came well-packed in a box that was smaller than I expected. The installation was pretty simple, the instructions are very good and easy to follow. The installation video online also gave me a good idea of the steps. The base itself is first attached to the two sliders and then a supplied template is centered in the bottom of your cabinet. Mounting holes are drilled using the template and the base is then screwed into place. (The instructions also give you an optional step should your cabinet door be counter-sunk into the opening. The base needs to be further back in that instance.) Next there are careful instructions on how to measure and drill mounting holes in your cabinet door for attaching the door to the sliders/base. This is an important step, essential to having your cabinet door be centered in the opening when closed. (Again, they smartly include an option should you need the mounting brackets to be wider so that they fit your particular cabinet door.). The sliders are super smooth and have a soft closing feature that we just love. The included bins are nice and sized as advertised. A great product that I highly recommend. Well made, easy to install with excellent functionality. Love it!

I couldn't be happier with this product. Easy install when I used a YouTube video for the Rev A Shelf 53wc series. Works in my framless cabinet seamlessly. Make sure you MEASURE your cabinet opening to ensure this will fit. As long as you follow the instructions and "measure twice, drill once" you should be fine. I'll be buying the lids from a local shop in my city (much cheaper).
