a great compass, delivered in good time and in perfect condition...baseplate could do with a better parallax line (like the Expedition 4) but no complaints otherwise!

A good advanced compass
This is a well built compass with good ‘premium features’ that I find useful as an experienced navigator on the hills. Great clarity as I would expect from silva.

reliability
Already used after having received this a week ago, for orienteering in the mountains in foul weather. Having bought two Suunto compasses with both suffering the same issue of no fluid. I have bought three Silva compasses and the differences and night and day. The feel of quality is vastly superior and dampening action is perfect. The ability to read in the dark is also perfect and the bezel movement is perfect.On this particular model the scales are very readable and the neck cord has scales on it to measure longer routes. Good thinking by Silva. In comparison my Suunto's were supplied sealed without fluid and I received zero help from the manufacturer. I'll be sticking with Silva from now on.

Was soll ich sagen? Ein Qualitätskompass halt! Da hakt nix, die Funktionen sind durchdacht und das Gewicht ist überzeugend. Ein Kompass den man fast überall verstauen kann und einem ständig auf seinen Touren begleitet. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Testata per più di un anno, diventata una compagna fedele in mille avventura. Precisa e facile da usare. Se cercate una bussola professionale e precisa,questa fa per voi Da tenere sempre in ogni uscita che sia bosco,montagna . Anche per brevi camminate boschive perché alla fine proprio le uscite dove siamo sicuri della strada ci colgono impreparati. Be con questa bussola troverete sempre la via di casa.
