It fits tightly, which is why there are some bad reviews; however, if you push it on and then pull gently all around, little by little, it goes on just fine. It is thin, which I think makes it less muffling for a crisper sound.

The Rode NT USB Microphone Windscreen fit my Rode NT USB Microphone very well. I had no issues what so ever installing it on the microphone, it took 1 minute and 40sec to install, I was careful with it, and after testing its doing what it's supposed to. I'm happy with it, however would consider it better priced at $5.99 rather then $8.99 it's not high quality. I'll most likely have to purchase another such item during the life of the microphone.

I was skeptical of buying this because of the bad reviews. But for $8, it was worth a shot. It fits perfectly on the NT-USB+ I think the problem with the bad reviews is, they simply haven’t stretched the filter down far enough. It definitely is a tight fit and takes some work to get it fully over the mic, but looks great once it’s on and isn’t going anywhere! Love it. 10/10 would recommend for the NT-USB+.

It was not advertised specifically for the NT-USB, so that's on me. I did work it on to the mic, but as it dries out, I expect it will split, eventually. I think it is fine for any mic it fits, but I would not recommend it for my particular mic. Probably also best deal available.

This cover was definitely, 100% not "specially designed" for the Rode NT-USB. It was made for a longer, thinner, microphone with a ROUND end (not oval and flat). It's fine if this was marketed as a universal microphone cover, but it's completely dishonest to say this was specially designed for the Rode NT-USB unless someone just measured all the dimensions inaccurately. The foam hole is too small and it tears slightly in order to fit the NT-USB inside. The resulting fit has the foam material stretched extremely, extremely tight meaning that as it ages it's going to fall apart quickly. Plus, there is a pocket of unused material at the end to accommodate a round tip, which the Rode NT-USB does not have. This is not "specially designed".
