Best ever, nah, but tremendous value and they do sound great!
My son bought these for his birthday present of the Gammon drums that Amazon sells for $260. We had played some Sabians at a local music store. They wanted $150 for a USED set of High Hats and another $120 for a single crash cymbal. He told me to look on Amazon before we spent his birthday money. These are AMAZING and bright. High Hats are crisp, the crash sounds great and the ride has good dynamics on both the bell and the cymbal toward the edge. Are these the "best cymbals ever"? Probably not. But they are REALLY nice, especially for a drummer starting out. I sprung for the Square Trade warranty for 2 years, because, starting drummer. They could end up getting cracked, but I sort of doubt that will actually happen. I would highly recommend them after playing them a bit.

Great for the money
Bought it for our house kit, the top hat is excellent, feels really bouncy and crisp. The ride has good resonance and the crash is pretty loud. A different sound than what I was expecting but its much better than our old cymbal. For the price I don't think anything beats it. Great for our Pearl Roadshow kit and sure to last us years down the road. I bought the square trade protection plan as well just in case, haven't had any issues.

Great, inexpensive cymbal set.
My Zildjians are in another state, for the time being. I was pleasantly surprised at how good these brass cymbals sound, especially for the price. I saw a few comments about the 16" crash cymbal- to me it seems more like a thin ride/ medium crash weight, but i think it sounds okay. It's the weak link, but it isn't bad at all.

Love these cymbals!
Just got my cymbals in last week and I've been enjoying them since! For me, this was quite the upgrade from the generic cymbals that came with my set so in my opinion they sound amazing! They are honestly a great deal for what they are, great sound for a mid grade cymbal and they fit into the budget as well! Overall, sweet deal!!!

Best for the price....wow. I'm impressed.
For your money......Wow. I thought they were going to bend and dent up. I lost all my metal moving to Arizona.....needed cheap cymbals.....I can't believe how good these sound. I play a pocket jazz kit and the tone is higher than I thought it was going to be. $200????? Nuts, man. When I get a new set, I'll keep the ride....it has a few nice sounds.

Good cymbals.
This is a good entry level set. The sounds they produce are acceptable. The 16" crash is the one I sort of dislike but I've heard others worse than this (that's why I didn't give the fith star). I consider that it is a good set for the money you pay for it.

These cymbals really are not very good. Actually that is not my first thought
As to my bonifides, I have been playing drums and other instruments since 1963, so feel some what qualified to make the following review. These cymbals really are not very good. Actually that is not my first thought, they suck is really what I was thinking. They have a lot of promise, brand name, nice and heavy, shiney, etc, etc. But they sound TERRIBLE! Okay you say, just what is the problem....I just can't say. They have a very bad after strike sound and not a lick of clean sound, even with ring strikes. I wasn't sure I was hearing right, so asked a couple of friends, with experience, what they thought without saying anything up front, and they all agreed the cymbals where really bad sounding. I play Pearl drum kits and have never had problems with Z cym's or even Evans,(Yuk). So buyer beware!
