Very good product it did the job and killed a big rat which was in cat size. I am really happy and would recommend this to anyone who has issue with big rats at home.

Decent product. Works well and kills the rats instantly or in less than 3-4 seconds. Problem is, if squirrels are common in the area, it is possible that squirrels could get caught into this trap. This could be applicable to other small animals as well. Either unload it during day time or cover the loaded trap with a small bucket or so.

A word of caution. This is quite a strong trap and be very very careful of your fingers. The trap will kill the rodent for sure and it can get messy to clean. The main spring mechanism is slightly less than a centimetre thick and is very tight. Build quality is top notch and definitely works from the first try if placed well with a sizeable bait. I placed the trap near the nest opening at night. I don't want to post pictures or videos with the review since it might make people squeamish. Again, be careful of your fingers.

Simple to set up and has a powerful spring action. Must be handled very carefully and with attention to safety of our fingers. Best to use piece of dry coconut as bait. I used a piece of cheese the first time, and the rat made off without triggering the trap. Manufacturer advices to use coconut as bait- and then I used it. Bingo! Rat caught in the trap. No more rat trouble for my car. I had placed the primed trap on the floor under my car near the front tyre. I am happy that the trap worked as advertised. For those who don't mind getting rid of such rodents 'permanently', go for this trap. Worth the money.
