I did this for a gift for my daughter. She loved it . I made my own code. It was a fun little idea. She still uses it to put things in. Well made and heavy. Great price for the quality of this product. I recommend!

It has a nice, heavy weight to it, and scrolling and changing the code was much easier than I expected after reading some of the reviews. I used it for the final puzzle in a Christmas-themed, in-home escape room, and it was a huge hit, everyone loved it. I didn’t use the rings that came with it, as they weren’t necessary for my setup. As mentioned in other reviews, the included note was a bit odd and had some misspellings, but I didn’t need or use it, so it wasn’t an issue.

This is such a fun gift. It's incredibly well-made. It's heavy but the dials turn very smoothly. It came with so many little extra surprises, including a gift bag, decorative box, greeting card (with misspellings but still cute), and two rings. I'm super happy with my purchase

I like this lock compartment device. It is solid, heavy and the six combination wheels turn smoothly. My only complaint is that the keying wheels inside the alphabet wheels have the key slots but are otherwise smooth. There are no false partial key slots. This make it easy to crack the combination in a minute or two. I wish the manufacture would add the partial false key slots or at least offer that modification.

well made, sturdy, super cool

First of all I agree with everybody - this is a beautiful piece. It's surprisingly heavy, very well-made, and beautiful. It comes in a lovely box, with little fun gifts I certainly didn't expect, especially the two Lord of the Rings rings that are hidden inside. But - I didn't buy this for the reasons most people do. I bought it to help me solve my daily Wordle (and the Hurdle over on Dictionary.com) How? Get a couple of green letters in your puzzle, put them in the right place on the Cryptex, and start spinning. Works like a charm! :)

Great way to give money. Better than expected. Here’s a tip: when changing the code word, you do not need to totally remove the tiny tiny screws. Just unscrew enough to allow the piece to slide off. Then you won’t have to try to pick up and replace the tiny screws.

Loving this. Was not expecting the "lord of the rings" rings inside. Would like to know what they say! But definitely solid material. I like that it comes with everything you need, the box the gift bag, 2 necklaces, tools to open and even a card. I got these to do a scavenger hunt for my kids for Xmas and put their cash inside. Very happy. The letters do move very easy so you have to remember to hold the letters around so they don't wonder but still love it. Would love if anyone knows what the rings say to let me know somehow lol.

Me gusta que esta bastante completo como regalo, viene en una caja preciosa que parece como si fueran jeroglíficos, viene una bolsa de regalo donde cabe perfecto, al abrir la caja viene una tarjeta donde puedes personalizarla para la ocasión, dentro de la caja viene el cryptex (que es bastante pesado me sorprendió) y una pequeña bolsita en donde viene la llave allen para cambiar la contraseña y dos cuerdas de collar para los anillos. Los anillos vienen adentro del cryptex (en lo personal se me hace innecesario que vengan anillos) no son de buena calidad y se sienten bastante baratos pero son un bonito detalle. La contraseña predefinida es “iloveu” y aunque no trae instructivo para cambiar la contraseña, es muy lógico deducir como se hace así que no fue un problema cambiarla. En resumen, me parece que por el precio es una excelente compra, si se siente de buena calidad el cryptex y es un regalo bastante original y hasta llegó antes de lo previsto. Excelente compra!!

Es un criptex súper bien hecho, el detalle es impresionante. Me encantó! Es más pesado de lo que creen, es muy fácil cambiar la contraseña! Simplemente un regalo inolvidable. No duden en pedirlo
