No nature walk is complete without my badger! I am a bit concerned that elastic strap (to tighten muff around recorder) will break and I will lose it. Have not used it enough yet but I can see the elastic will deteriorate quite quickly.

Thanks is a great product and reduces wind noise well. The only issue is that it needs to be at least a cm bigger for a Tascam Dr-100 MKiii as it's quite tight, but does fit and hold without needing to tighten the elastic drawing string.

it's quite large, but you need the space to avoid wind noise, it works brilliantly, placed the recorder in front of an electric fan blowing at full speed and it stopped the wind noise completely, amazing!

Really good product, fits nicely on my Zoom H6

I often use a small Panasonic sound recorder in my work and wanted a 'dead cat' windscreen that would fit over the stereo mics. This served the purpose well and does remove a significant amount of wind noise while not muffling the sound significantly. Together with Adobe Audition software, I am able to get the sound quality I seek in most weather conditions.

Reduces wind noise significantly. There's no other alternative for cheaper windscreens and DIY is more likely to take too much time. The only con is that the individual hairs can come off so treating it any was other than delicately may end up costing its lifespan. The adjustable tightener is not that strong and will not hold anything upside down but that's a small inconvenience.

I buy a lot of these for professional use and they are as good if not better than some brands like Bubblebee Industries

Takes a little fiddle to get it on the zoom recorder. Doesn’t kill all the wind noise by a long chalk and was a bit expensive for a man-made fibre sock, but otherwise ok
