Firm with outer sponge to stop soreness when lying on roller. Would recommend

Quite hard, which might appeal to some but I chose it because it was advertised as being a ‘soft’ roller, which I guess it is compared to the hard plastic ones with studs on but this wasn’t soft enough for what I wanted.

I needed this to treat my ilio-tibial strap. Painful but hopefully does the business. Cheaper than a physio.

I am an experienced foam roller. This was a very firm foam roller so don’t be misled by their reference to density.

I already had a quite firm roller, I purchased this one as the description clearly said "sort roller" and "firmness: soft" in the product details. It is not particularly soft at all, if I kneel on it with my full body weight on it it compresses by about 2cm. Apart from that it's a decent enough product.

Purchased on the recommendation from my chiropractor. He has one in his office and I need one to use at home for my back. The surface is a little soft but it doesn’t seem that there is any give after the first 1/8 inch of the surface. I think it will work fine for me. For a young fitness buff it might not be what they want but for older, arthritic conditions, I think it will be fine . The fact that my chiropractor had the same thing in his office says a lot for me. I got the 18” because the ad stated 18” for back. I don’t think the 24” would be too long but the 18” appears adequate for my needs

Perfect width. Fits in a suitcase for trip. A little softer material than would be amazing for me. Not soft but not as firm as I would normally use.
