Delicious and healthier than sucrose. Looks identical to sugar and dissolves the same, just caramelizes at a much lower temperature. Very good quality and value.

Really good for making homemade energy gels. Saves money and time.

I'm making my own "gu" with this mixed with maltodextrin 2:1. Works well and is about the best value I've found for fructose - best source I can find that i'm sure of what I'm getting anyways. Just be prepared to break it apart (I mix in a blender so the only problem there for me is properly measuring). Also, word to the wise: Don't bother with agave as that stuff is nasty, this doesn't have any off flavors.

this tastes great in my coffee and has really helped stabilize my blood sugars. Fructose has a lower glycemic index than sucrose, with fructose prompting a 65-percent-lower rise in blood sugar. Fructose doesn't raise insulin levels, and regular consumers of fructose usually have lower concentrations of blood glucose than regular consumers of sucrose. Fructose, however, has about the same nutritional value as sucrose -- 15 and 15.5 calories, respectively, and no vitamins or minerals -- so it contributes to fat storage the same way sugar does when consumed in excess.
