Identical to the original and saved the day.
My pool pump quit. It kept popping the breaker. After a little research, it seemed the starter capacitor was the most likely culprit. Replaced the original with this and viola! All is well. A note of caution. Replacing capacitors can result in a VERY nasty shock. If you're not sure what you're doing, don't do it and get an electrician to replace it for you.

Didn't work with my pool pump
I'll give manufacturer the benefit of the doubt. There may be something else wrong with the pool pump. I thought I would start with the most likely component.

Works as a Metal Halide Lamp Capacitor
I needed to replace the capacitor in my metal halide outdoor light fixture (bulb was not fully igniting), and this seemed to be a replacement based on the specs. It seems like there was not an exact match available any longer, but the information given for this type of capacitor seemed like it would work, so I gave it a shot and it does! MY old capacitor was 400 VAC for reference.
