Anyone know what the carbs are?

1/4 cup of wild rice is 8.75 total carbs. (grams) 1/2 cup is 17.50 grams 1 cup is 35.00 grams 1 oz. is 6.05 grams My recipe for cooking wild rice calls for 2 cups of water and one cup of wild rice plus salt.

Where's the nutritional info?

Wild rice is not a farm or manufactured product. It is grow in the wild in north Minnesota lakes and harvested by Chippewa Indians using canoes. It really isn’t a rice, but tastes much better. You an look up on the internet for nutritional values. If I remember correctly there is a label on the bottom of the bag.

what is the usual cooking time? I am thinking of combinig with basmati rice, for a blend. Do I have to cook separately?

Wild rice takes longer to cook to soft than White rice - as much as 15 to 20 minutes longer. This isn't much of a problem if you're cooking on the stove; either cook it separately as you would pasta or partially cook it then add it to the rice (getting the water right can be tricky). Personally, I don't mind the under cooked texture of wild rice mixed with fully cooked white rice, so I just cook them together.

Yes. The grain is smaller that the previous bags I've bought of Canadian Wild Rice.
