Get it
Ok confession time: I'm mechanically challenged. I don't assemble well and IKEA is not my friend. This little tray was easy to put together. If you can follow an easy step-by-step direction, you'll have this up in minutes. PROS: surface area - spacious so I have room for everything I need; leg design - yes, it's genius and really a simple thing to design a tray that will accommodate any chair, sofa or wheelchair because there's no annoying bar down below. In that manner, you can sit and work comfortably because there's nothing underneath to bang your knee on; adjustability - easy to adjust if I need to. I pretty much just leave it at waist height for laptop/iPad use. CONS: wobbly - in all fairness, it's a tv tray so it's in its nature to have a wobble. Don't plan on using this as a support to hoist yourself from the recliner. You will be disappointed and more than likely on the floor. I gave this a 5 star because the design is different than the others on the market. They put a lot of thought into how this can be used be people in any situation. I use this everyday and I love it! Only question you should be wondering at this point is, what color do you want?

THIS TV TABLE IS JUST WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR
I am so glad that this TV table was available. I didn't see it listed with the other types but found it when looking at the manufacturer's section comparing various versions. I have an overly large power lift recliner. I needed something that would slide between the left and right side of the foot rest in fully raised position as it is necessary for me to keep my legs up as much as possible. As you can see on first photo, it is pulled up fully against the seat and between the arms of the recliner. Because the "legs" are on either side without the criss-cross design like regular TV trays, there is room underneath for me to extend my legs between the "legs". The quality is excellent and it was so easy to assemble. I gave it only 4 stars on maneuverability because you have to be careful not to pull it from side rather than front or back. I have my 23" computer monitor sitting on it so do not want it dumping sideways. The "legs" tend to bend a little (((not quite sure how else to describe it))) when sliding from either side. Just be aware of that issue! YOU CANNOT GO WRONG purchasing this "Tablemate V" TV try. There is plenty of room in front to sit my keyboard or sit is off to the side and room on either side as well. Very sturdy and heavy duty quality materials with a lip to prevent things like pencils to slide off the side or front or back.

Fits the bill
I work from home and at odd hours so I at times park myself on the recliner and get some work done, I had a small tray but it tipped over easy and had a tendency to lean to one side at times. So I went on a search for a better option, I looked at TV trays of all sizes but finally settled on this with the promise it would fit my recliner, hey even i want to put my feet up while I work at times, it does fit, I'm rather pleased, then why 4 stars? 1. The thing is a little wobbly, not that i feel like its going to fall over, but I'm careful not to bump it if I walk by. 2. The brackets for the angle adjustment can come out at times when moving the table, this causes the tray to collapse, move carefully or zip tie the brackets in place as I did. 3. the set height adjustments didn't fit my needs, at 6' plus i needed an in-between to be comfortable, I made one with a drill bit and some patience, worked perfectly. 4. 80.00 for what amounts to 6 metal tubes and a plastic table top is a little steep, but the market bears what it bears and I'm the sucker who paid for it right? Solid, can be made 5 star with a little creative effort on your part.

LOVIN IT ❤️
I'm loving this tray, so far anyways. I'm hesitant to write a review because it seems as though every time I write a review the item ends up breaking a few days later. I just have to share with you guys though, so here it is. I've purchased TONS of trays, tables, tablet holders, etc. to accommodate my needs and I haven't been successful until I purchased this little gem. I needed something to use while sitting in my recliner, while recovering from a horrible accident. I was needing something stable that I could sit my laptop, tablet, phone, food, etc. (of coarse not all at the same time) but I also needed something I could pull up close to me while working, eating, etc. This is IT 👌 This tray actually stratles my footrest (fits over) providing me with a large table exactly where I need it to be, without having a ton of pillows Stacked in my lap, trying to keep my laptop at eye level without having to worry about it falling over. The cherry on top, it folds down, out of the way if I'm not using it. So YES ‼️ ABSOLUTELY 💯 % I RECOMMEND this TERRIFIC TRAY 👏

Sturdy - fits under furniture very well
This was super easy to assemble - no tools required. I was a little concerned that it would not support the monitor I placed on it but it is very strong and remains sturdy. A plus for people who need to have longer legs on a tray. The width of the tray is impressive. You can place several items on it without any problem. You can also adjust the height position which helps if you need it to raise or lower the tray. Highly recommended for use when sitting in a chair or on the couch. Works great for crafting, remote work, etc.

Great product - great service
I don't normally write reviews but I was happy enough with this product, and with the seller, I decided to take the time. It is a great table tray for recliners. People have said it isn't that sturdy. While it's true it doesn't look sturdy - and there is a slight wobble - it holds my large laptop and my large cat fine. There is wobble, because there are no legs on one side so it will slide close to a recliner. But it seems very strong to me. Also, when I got the table tray there was a crack on the tray. It wasn't huge, but I was worried it would get bigger. I wrote the seller and it was replaced in less than 48 hours. Stellar customer service in a day and age when lots of sellers don't care that much. I highly recommend the product and the seller. Well done.

Very pleased with this table
The wide width is perfect for using with my arm chair; I can get the table close enough to work comfortably without catching on any parts of the chair. The legs slide smoothly on my carpet. It was very easy to put together. I think it maybe took 15 minutes. I would respect the weight limits listed. This holds my wooden embroidery stand and tablet with ease; even adding a plate with a meal is fine. Adding a full 40oz metal water bottle to all that does get a slight dip in the table level. I would expect this is fine with most laptops, but I wouldn't add a lot of extra screens or peripherals. The table top angle and the height are easy to adjust.

A good start
I really like the size of this table (and it was great to use the tilt feature to work on a jigsaw puzzle), but the stability sorely lacks for the amount of weight it is supposed to be able to hold. I use it mostly for a 17" laptop and a few small items like a pen and writing pad, but would not feel comfortable going much beyond that. Pulling it straight toward you on the sofa is fine with this much weight, and the metal legs glide nicely over carpet, but don't try moving it from side-to-side as the legs sway and feel very unsteady if they bump into anything while moving, even with my few items on it. This includes lightly bumping into a piece of my sofa's underpinnings as I pull the table up to me while sitting. Moving it side-to-side fully loaded to max weight listed would be a disaster. My lightweight rollator was next to the table one day, and was accidentally rolled slightly into the path of the table. I was not able to move it just a two inches to free myself from my sofa, even without the brakes engaged, by pushing gently on my TV tray. Keep in mind that rollators move with very little pressure. Slight sideways movement seems to put the table in serious danger of collapse even with a light load, potentially spilling my laptop etc. to the floor. Or a cup of hot coffee or a hot bowl of soup. Two additional wires, the weight of the tabletop support wire, that criss-cross in the very front of the unit, fitting into a few pre-drilled holes, would greatly stabilize the table, and could be easily removed for storage and folding. An additional removable wire at the front bottom going straight across would make it totally solid on the front side. Two holes drilled halfway between front and back of the unit's legs at floor level would offer another positioning option for this support wire, if it works with the furniture the user has. This possibility would stabilize the legs nearest your seat. These updates would be of minimal cost to the manufacturer, and would give the consumer everything promised in your Amazon posting. The unit as it currently is does not justify the listed selling price, and the table does not offer nearly enough support for the current 40lb load promised.
