Invincible Compendium Volume 2

Excellent value for money.

Great comic overall, no damage in shipping and came 2 days early! Only complaint is that the shipping almost took a month which is somewhat understandable as it came from america. If you've just finished the show this is a perfect place to start from if you dont want to read a story you already know. Ryan Ottley's art is amazing and really helps you get immersed in the comics The story is even better, where we get introduced to Thragg, one of my favourite characters and see his epic fight against battle beast. I highly recommend for any invincible fans.

So good, expectations are met perfectly, minor errors like a few marks on pages but that could just be poor delivery, such a joy to read and especially with season 4 around the corner, it’s amazing to see

Comic amazing, my boyfriend loves it. Amazon’s shipping is the problem, for such a thick book they send it in such a small unprotected package, came dented and bent in corners.

I have now purchased all of the compendiums just to say I own them. Invincible is a comic that I wish I had looked into and purchased when new issues were still hitting shelves. As a collector and lover of comics it pains me to think about it. Luckily, these compendiums exist, which are far and away the best "value," in terms of money spent on the actual comic, that you can find. Any other way of reading Invincible is more expensive for getting essentially the same product. The compendium(s) are all hefty boys, and holding the book the way that I read makes my hands a bit sore after about an hour, but the story is so good it's worth some very tolerable hand cramps. There's practically no cons that I can think of save for one, which are the comments and sketches from Kirkman and Ottley that could normally be found at the end of each trade paperback. Reading the notes and things they had to say always added an extra layer of enjoyment after just finishing one of the books. The forewords that accompanied each of the trade paperbacks were also welcome, and some of them were kind of funny. Aside from that, Invincible is a 10/10. The show made me want to read the rest of the series, so I am, and I am addicted. Even if you know nothing about Invincible, the show or comic, if you enjoy superhero comics then this is a must-read. Kirkman takes the story in an interesting direction with each twist, especially when you think that the larger overarching plot can't go anywhere else. Ottley's art has dramatically improved since he was picked up way back near the beginning of the series, and he is easily one of my favorite modern comic artists at this point. The duo can do no wrong, and honestly after being on a heavy manga stint for a while, this series has re-invigorated my love for Western comics, and has made me want to try out more independent series (not Marvel or DC). One last thing, if you're hesitant on taking the plunge, Comixology Unlimited (as of 06/28/2022) lets you read the first 10 volumes/trade paperbacks of the series, which gets you past where the first season of the show ends by a fair chunk, and gives you a glimpse of what's to come. Great comic and good artwork

Buen compendio, sería mejor con pasta dura ya que la blanda si no la sabes manejar se lastima. La historia de Invincible cada vez captura más, cuando hay alguna subtrama que no sabes si fue relleno, resulta que el autor le sabe dar la vuelta de manera interesante y siempre usa todos los personajes presentados de alguna forma u otra. De mis cómics favoritos hasta ahora y estos compendios son una de las pocas maneras más efectivas de poder leerlo.
