Good hat for the need I needed it for. Color is not really black it is more gray.

Good hat, flexible and easy for Travel

It’s an okay hat to beat around in, but don’t expect a lot if you’re particular about quality. Not bad, not great. Right off the bat, one seam had a loop of thread sticking up out of it. Not a great lead-off. Although the material is soft, I would consider it to be on the thin side. But I suppose that’s not too far out in left field for this price range. My head is 57cm around (just under 22.5 inches) and I was able to adjust the band to fit me comfortably. So, the sizing is as claimed, or close to it. So that’s a plus. Frustratingly, this is more than I can say for the majority sellers I’ve experienced in this marketplace, but I digress. In case you’re considering the black one, be aware that mine showed up about 2 shades lighter than in the pictures. More of a medium charcoal rather than the faded-washed-but-still-black look as shown. To use the Zone system in black-and-white photography, which is a 0-10 scale where 0 is pure black, the picture is a 1 and my hat is almost a 3. (a Google image search will pull up plenty of references if you need one) It appears that the two seams terminating above the temples are longer than the rest, causing an outward bulge midway down from the top, followed by inward buckling just above the hatband. It gives the beanie a sloppy appearance from the front, and not the clean, round silhouette of a better-fitting low profile hat. Not really out of league with my expectations at this price. It’s just a cheap hat, that's all. Probably good enough for the minors, but definitely not ready for the Show.

Love it. Fits my large head very well. No emblem. I sent back a Filson tin cloth cap much more expensive and did not fit. Now if the could make a waterproof waxed canvas hat. That would be great.

I was skeptical I would actually like this hat as the only baseball cap I had at the time of purchase was a structured one. Unable to find a cute structured one I gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and especially the fit. I'm 49 and still, like to look cute when (if) possible but mostly this is for sunscreen. I didn't do my hair all pretty for the pics I wore it like I usually do when I'm outside doing yard work or going for a walk to exercise. So the hat may look a little askew but keep in mind my thick braid on one side. Also, I have a small head. The bill is the perfect size to look cute, not too long but long enough to be a great sunscreen. The curve of the bill was nice but I did curve it a bit more for my taste. I bought two hats at the same time and I loved this style/fit better, holding a tighter shape in the back. Extremely cute for the price. I like how the size is adjustable and when you have a small head like me, the extra long pull tab is tucked nicely inside the hat not hanging out looking tacky. I love the color options for this style too. Bottom line: cute/perfect fit and you can't beat the price!

The quality of manufacture is fine; soft cotton and good stitching. The problem with a one-size fits all hat, and calling it “low-profile,” is that that description depends on the size of customer’s head. For someone with a size 15 head, this is probably a low-profile hat. For someone with a size 7 or smaller, it looks like Elmer Fudd’s hunting hat. I understand selling fitted hats results in higher returns, but MADE MORE THAN ONE SIZE ADJUSTABLE HATS!!!
