Cute, super soft, high quality. Huggable per grandchild. Not small. Would buy again.

Adorable and very soft.

My fiancé had the original Muttsy as a small child. It was his favorite toy, and he often pretended to be a small dog himself. He loved his Muttsy into "Velveteen Rabbit" condition. And kept it through the years. So when we got our little fur baby ( a toy Maltipoo named Charlie ) a couple years ago, my fiancé brought out his treasured old Muttsy for Charlie to play with. Muttsy was three times our little Charlie's size at that point- but it was love at first sight. Charlie has since grown to almost Muttsy's size and has loved him almost to pieces. That's why we purchased this new Muttsy as a substitute companion for our tiny dog. Muttsy arrived quickly, in good condition- no odors, etc. We quietly slipped the old Muttsy out of sight before introducing his replacement. He is soft and cuddly and holding up well to Charlie's great affection for him. These are well made and durable as well as adorable. And incidentally- our little Charlie never has tried to "hump" a human the way some small dogs do. We believe it's because he turns to Muttsy when he feels the urge. ( Muttsy machine washes well on handwash cycle ) So if you or someone you know, have a small dog that is in the habit of mounting small children, or people's feet or legs, Muttsy may be worth a try. In addition, Charlie sometimes curls up to snuggle and sleep with Muttsy, if we are unavailable for that when he wishes to nap. So I highly recommend this product for humans and small dogs ( who are gentle and don't shred their toys )!

You can see why I had to get this! For some reason I thought it would be smaller but it is a good size. The fur is sooo soft. Only downside is I was so excited to show it to the dog that he now thinks it's for him and is committed to grabbing it 😂

As other reviewers have pointed out, the face is slightly different in reality than in the listing, with the smaller vinyl nose, which makes the eyes appear wider apart (they aren’t), and different mouth. However, this pup is super cute. It’s perfectly sized for cuddles and carrying around. The ears on this one are stitched well at the top for stability and to get that dalmation shape, but still adequately floppy. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a supremely soft stuffed dalmation for themselves or as a gift.

My 2 year old loves dogs and stuffed animals and has been obsessed with the Dalmatian on Blippi’s job show firefighters. To surprise her I got her this little guy and she brings him EVERYWHERE. She has many stuffed animals but this one is super soft and really well made. I just wish I could throw it in the washer machine 😂.

My 2 year old has a smaller version of a Gund dog, and it is her most prized and loved possession. He calls it Puppy. Unfortunately, puppy has taken a bath or two in the toilet, and was accidentally dried after being washed in the washing machine. Puppy is no longer soft, but still goes everywhere with her and sleeps with her every night. I purchased this one for Christmas to see if she would prefer a new, larger, softer one, but shes made it obvious that Puppy is irreplaceable. That being said, she also loves this one, and it stays in bed with her, too. She calls her Mommy Puppy. So far, Mommy Puppy hasn't had any toilet baths and is as soft and cute as it was when it was purchased. The quality of these products are so very high, and worth the extra money. My 2 year old knows Puppy and Mommy Puppy are similar products, and wont play/sleep with any other brand stuffed animal or dog.

The stuffie is very cute and soft and a nice size for a child to cuddle. Seems well made and good quality. My only complaint is that the actual toy is not quite the same as the listing photo. The listing photo shows what looks a large embroidered nose with a mouth line and larger eyes but the actual toy has a small plastic nose, no mouth embroidery, and smaller, more wide-set eyes. Not an issue as he is still very cute and lovable, just not quite what I was expecting. Overall it would be a great toy for any Dalmatian lover!

When I first ordered it I hadn't realised it was so big, and wondered if Nelly, the recipient of this gift, would be able to carry it around. I needn't have worried, as it was very light, and she just adores it. It goes everywhere with her and sleeps in her basket. A very good toy and excellent value for money!

Just received the beautiful dog, which I ordered for photography purposes. It looks great, I am very pleased with the design, lovely eye for detail. It also arrived much earlier than expected! Very grateful!
