Barney's Abc, 123 and More!

Our toddler loves lift-the-flap books but often, through repetition or curiosity, tears the flaps off; however, the flaps on this book are thick and sturdy, and have withstood many viewings with no tears. The heavy laminate pages clean up easily. The book is colorful and has a LOT of flaps: the first two-page scene features the first ten numbers; the second has the 26 letters of the alphabet; the third shows a farm scene with nine colors featured; the fourth is a busy circus, with flaps for eight shapes; the fifth is a beach scene and the flaps depict seven pairs of opposites; and the sixth shows a fairy tale scene that incorporates eleven flaps hiding characters from the show (Stella, Baby Bop) and fairy tale characters (Humpty Dumpty, Mother Goose). A good value, entertaining and educational.

This is truely and educational book that my Granddaughter loves. Out of many books, this is her favorite and she always picks it to read. She has learned so much from it and no matter how many times we look at it she keeps learning something new because of all the different types of activities available.

Barney is kind of "out", after being very popular in the 90's. However, it can be viewed free on Netflix, which is where my 2 year old granddaughter watches it. Was glad to find this used, good condition book for her, she loves it.

Bought it “Used - Good” and The final page was missing all the flaps :/ the corners were rough, but the missing flaps was the most upsetting. Overall a good book though! Still plenty of flaps on the other pages!

比較的大型のボードブック、色が鮮やか、絵もきれいです。 見開き1ページごとに数字、色、形、アルファベット、反対語のフラップがたくさんあります。 特に反対語は、big-small（大きい貝と小さい貝）、full-empty（貝がいっぱいのバケツと空っぽのバケツ） など、めくって絵が変わるので違いがわかりやすいです。

２歳のうちの子は、本が届いたときに、真っ先にこの絵本を手にとりました。 思っていたより大きくて、絵もとてもはっきりしててきれいです。 うちの子はバーニーが大好きなので大喜び！ 仕掛けが沢山ついてて、厚みがあって小さな子供でもめくりやすいです。

2歳8ヶ月になる息子に、一緒に数冊絵本を買いましたがこの本は毎日一人で、又は読んで～と持ってきて一緒に読みます。本自体も大きくカラフルで、最初に数、次のページはアルファベット、色・・とテーマごとに分かれてめくる仕掛けになっています。例えばアルファベットだとAの小窓をめくるとappleの絵と文字が。一人で遊ぶ時はその小窓をめくるのに夢中で、一緒に読むときは言葉を教えられます。しかも下の息子1歳がお兄ちゃんの様子を見てこっそりめくってるのには笑いました。しかもけっこう頑丈にできてるので少々手荒に扱っても大丈夫そう。この値段だと買いでしょう。
