I love the idea of this Dr. Emma Electric Flosser. The brush heads work fairly well, but I bought this for the flossing function and for me that's where this fell flat. I have a small mouth with tightly spaced teeth. The floss gets so stuck between them that it feels like it's going to snap. I prefer the control of manual flossing.

I found the vibrating flosser a bit more effective than using floss manually--not dramatically better, but a little better. The vibration is considerably more effective as an enhancement for brushing when using the bonus toothbrush attachment that came with it. In fact, I found this electric toothbrush to be better than my other electric toothbrush. I like the fact that the same vibrating motor works for both the flossing attachment and the toothbrush attachment. The device provides two speeds: regular or regular with pulsating. Either setting is sufficiently intense to get the job done. I do not know what benefit there is to having the pulsation effect, but there is no harm in having it available.

Everything works as expected, with no complaints whatsoever. I'm not using it as my primary toothbrush so it's hard to estimate what its longevity will be. The included flosser is a significant bonus, and I'm keeping it in my travel bag for occasional use.
