Laura Geller's makeup sponge is a handy tool for smooth makeup. It blends foundation and concealer well without streaks. The sponge is latex-free, making it great for sensitive skin that might react to other blenders. It has a nice shape that fits face curves and gets into tight spots like under eyes. The soft texture feels good on skin and doesn't soak up too much product. It's easy to clean with soap and water, and dries fairly quickly. I have to admit, I was skeptical of any makeup sponge being worth the price I would normally pay for 12 sponges, but…this is nicer. I’m not entirely sure it’s 12 sponges nicer, but it’s definitely nicer. Of course, I don’t have any latex (or other) allergies, so this would probably be more valuable to someone who does have those issues. Still, as is so oftentimes the case, you get what you pay for. It blends beautifully, and feels good against my skin. I would seriously consider ordering it, again, if it holds up. I’ve only been using it for a month or so, but so far, so good.

I love that this sponge is latex free. I have both allergies and sensitive skin so I don't like using anything with latex. The sponge is a bit smaller than my other sponges, but it also feels more dense. It is soft & bouncy and blends my liquid foundation beautifully. The coverage ends up looking flawless. The pointed end is perfect for getting into those hard to reach areas. I didn't notice any particular smell although I always clean my makeup tools before using them. I noticed that after awhile it starts to look a little 'used' and doesn't clean up as well. It does cost more than many other sponges and while it's better quality it doesn't seem to last as long.

I can’t see it, feel it, or smell it, so the whole infused with green tea thing seems like a marketing gimmick. However, the sponge is very nice. It’s dense but very very soft, and its cells seem tighter and smaller than every other beauty sponge I’ve ever used, so I feel like I’m wasting less foundation on the sponge and getting more on my actual face. The pointy end can get in really tight in the corners of my eyes, and the flat sliced off place can get right up under my eyes. The instructions say to dampen it before use; I think that that waters down my foundation just a little, but in a good way. I can always add more, but sometimes less IS more, when I manage to look like I just have great skin rather than having great makeup. Anyway— I’m pleased, I like this, and I hope it lasts a long time. My makeup lives in my backpack, so I do wish this came with a case, but a plastic resealable baggie is going to work fine. It’s just not the most elegant solution.
