She filters, she dries, she comes with the service dingus already installed, she has an arrow to verify direction, she came sealed under a vacuum, she has verified desiccant innards with a solid steel micron screen incoming and a mesh finer particulate screen on the outgoing side, she's copper. She's about 4" tall and 1" around, shes got quarter inch copper lines with a tapered sealed end that can easily be used with capillary tube without having to crimp, she's got a cap with a schrader valve remover built in, she's got a schrader valve that seals, she can bend without breaking any seals, shes cheap.. shes good...

My little air conditioner just crapped out for no reason, one day it worked and the next didn't. Turns out it had a hole in a T fitting in it and all the freon leaked out, after I ran it for over a year it was a weird failure. But added this in there to keep it filtered pulled vac on it all day (was probably wet from the factory it took forever) charged it and no problems since! I think it actually blows cooler now.

Like most parts for refrigeration nothing is an exact fit unless you have a unit new enough to buy the part directly from the manufacturer. This was a perfect replacement for the obsolete drier I needed.

It's a drier. Easy to install if you know what you are doing and can adjust the capillary end to fit the capillary snugly.

suspect that the large volume going into such a small cap tube didn't help. build quality is decent, with several steps on output side for different tubing sizes. larger than an inch in diameter, so a bit larger for qhat i wanted it for. the price was right, at about $13. i disconnected, vac'd out and sealed for another project.

Perfect fit. Performs as expected.
