After a few weeks of use, I’ve noticed the moisturizing effect lasts well throughout the day, and I rarely feel the need to apply lotion afterward. This is a big plus, as I’ve tried other moisturizing soaps that left my skin dry by midday. One minor drawback is that this bar tends to soften and melt quickly if left in a wet soap dish. I’ve found it lasts longer when stored in a draining soap holder to keep it dry between uses. Also, compared to Dove’s standard beauty bar, this shea butter version feels slightly more moisturizing, so I’d recommend it if you’re looking for extra hydration. Final Thoughts: Overall, this is a reliable choice if you have normal to dry skin and are looking for a gentle, moisturizing soap with a mild scent.
