Dislikes - i wish i bought this before i lost my whale kite. String snapped and kite flew into a bunch of high trees. If i had this it would have been hooked up easy and correctly and would not have snapped. If i didnt say it already get it. Likes everything. Makes kite flying so much more fun and enjoyable without killing your hands trying to rail in a big kite on a windy day.

I like the kite winder itself, but would have liked some directions. Tangled up string several times while attempting to prepare the winder for kiting. Also, the small clamp was difficult to open to attach the kite.

The kite reel winder is made of really good quality. It is very easy to use and perfect for anyone who loves flying kites. I bought this for my hubby who loves to fly kites and I felt this is perfect for him. The string that comes with it is strong, durable and of good quality. The wheel design makes it easy to hold the winder and control the kite. Overall love the kite reel winder!

This item looks nice and seemed to be a great product for about the first 2 times I used it. It promptly started to come apart. The screws have nuts on one side and he nuts come loose when you aren't expecting it and the thing just comes apart literally. I suggest a different reel, this one is more trouble than it's worth.

Using my finger for a drag. Have to keep an eye on it so it doesn't loopout and tangle but definitely a good buy.

I've only used this inside the house, playing with it, but it feels well-made. My large hands barely fit in the thing, & the lock & ratchet device seems confusing at this point. Also no information on the line strength, tho it seems strong.

This kite reel is amazing.
