I've been doing rinseless washes for a little while now. Up until now I've just been using a high quality microfiber wash mitt. I've seen people using these types of sponges so I figured I'd give it shot.The description says the sponge comes vacuum sealed although mine did not. I can tell it was at one time vacuum sealed though due to a bit of deformation on the sides. I'm not sure if my package got a pin hole in it and the sponge expanded or it was repackaged. The little bit of deformation did go away after I used the sponge. My photos are from directly out of the package.The listing photos don't make it clear but there are cuts on both sides of the sponge. It's a good size and the cut outs on each side for your thumb provide good grip. I've done four vehicles so far using this sponge and it's not bad. I haven't observed it causing any scratching or marring. I do like using it better than the mitt for rinseless.Since this is my first time using one of these sponges I can't compare to any other ones. I know some of them can get kind of expensive. If I had a car that was in pristine showroom condition maybe I'd opt for one of the more expensive ones but I'm happy with this one and will continue using it.
