I use this as grain spawn for mycology and it's nice because it's so clean right out of the bag, there's little to no dust, or other plant particles that need to be cleaned out. I love eating it raw after it's soaked and lightly boiled.

Great River Milling grain are just that, great. Timely delivery and awesome product. I will be baking today after growing a fresh starter in three days.

I was kind of torn on whether or not to order because reviews were so mixed however, I was pleasantly surprised to see there were no bugs and little to no pieces of anything other than grain. I really wanted to start milling my own flour for my sourdough starter, but finding grain that’s organic and yet at a reasonable price is really hard. As of right now, this is the best grain that’s ready to use I have found, price and quality wise. I will continue to order from them in future, however the moment the quality changes I will update my review.

I bake my rye bread using Great River Organic whole Grain Rye. Berries for years and the product never disappoints. The bread is delicious and rises pretty well for rye flour. The packaging is very good. Will buy it again.
