Pete & Pedro sea salt spray has quickly become one of my favorite hair products. It’s a great pre-styler that gives my hair a lot of volume, texture, and separation without feeling sticky or heavy. I spray about 5 to 8 pumps into damp hair before blow drying, and it gives a clean, natural look with light hold and fullness. I started with the 2 oz travel size just to test it out, and I’m really impressed with how it performs. It makes styling easier and helps my hair keep its shape all day. I’ll definitely be purchasing the full-size bottle for everyday use.

Even though I'm elderly and live in the land locked, low humidity mountains of Colorado, this Pete + Pedro sea salt spray gives me the full volume surf swept hair I had in my youth on the beaches of New Zealand. Creates a super cool thick and shaggy look with barely any effort. Apply to slightly damp hair, scrunch it in with your hands and then just let it dry naturally. Unlike some sea salt spray products I've tried, this particular brand does not seem to get sticky once it's dried, nor have any distinct smell. Two things I really appreciate. I can also run my hands through my hair and adjust it as necessary as it stays soft and manageable throughout the day. It also easily rinses out clean in the shower with just water. All day effortlessly good hair, and people tell me so!

When first using, I planned to make a negative review.. Even as my hair was still wet but towel dried, I wasn’t happy with the texture of my hair. The shampoo and conditioner feel like snot, and the smell, in case you’re interested, is exactly the same as the smell of a tin of altoid treatments. Once my hair dried, though, it had volume like it has t had in years and had a great texture. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is the price. A travel-sized think of shampoo is 4 oz., and that’s the most of a gel or liquid you can take on a flight. These are only twice the weight of those, and if you buy the hair spray, shampoo, and conditioner, you’re back $55. They can do better on the price for sure.

A bit pricey BUT it works. Light scent and hold while not making my hair stiff.

Works great. I bought this because I was tired of having my hair feel heavy or loaded up with product, especially when sweating or in warmer weather. You can apply this on dry hair or wet and it works generally the same. If you’re applying it to dry hair I’d just recommend more sprays to saturate / wet your hair. The hold with this product isn’t CRAZY but it does add really nice texture to your hair and provides a natural voluminous look, which I like. Before this I was using either pomade or texturizing powder both of which really can’t be applied to dry hair - so I like that I can use this either wet / dry, it’s convenient.

This stuff doesn’t really provide any hold, thickness, or a significant look for your hair. It just smells nice.

I’ve used another product for years but decided to try this as an alternative. I’m probably not going back to the old product! This works great to provide gentle hold and shaping. I spray it on after towel drying my hair and then comb/brush my hair into my desired style. Works great. Not sure why some people are so offended by the smell. It’s a nice masculine scent.

Gives hair nice volume. Perfect prestyler.
