This shampoo is very good for thinning hair!

Love this shampoo! Scent is mild. Excellent quality! My hair loss has slowed way down! It leaves my hair shiny. I can go 4 days between shampooing! Yay!

I started losing hair rapidly when I entered menopause. I feared I would be bald! I lost half my thick, full hair! I asked my hairdresser if there was anything to help stop the loss and restore some of my hair volume and she recommended this Actiiv shampoo and conditioner for women. It is pricey and I was hesitant, thinking it would just be another snake oil sale. But I tried it, and even though it is expensive, you only use it twice per week, so it does last a long time. It cleans my hair very well. You have to leave it on a full 5 minutes before rinsing--follow those instructions. I lather up in the shower and then let it sit on my hair while I wash everything else. Rinse and follow up with the conditioner for one minute. I cannot believe how it has changed my hair loss! I was losing too many hairs to count with every shampoo, clogging my shower drain, and then losing more when combing out my wet hair. Hundreds of hairs daily! After three uses with Actiiv, I could count the number of hairs lost--always fewer than 15. I've been using this about three months now, and I am starting to see some baby hair regrowth at this point. I don't know if I will regain all my lost hair volume but I am super encouraged to see the loss stop and a little bit returning. My scalp feels great. No bad reactions. It will burn a little if you get any in your eyes, so be careful about that.

This is the best shampoo I have ever used!

I have used this before, but bought from another source. The previous one claimed that it encouraged new hair growth, where this one simply claims that it creates the look or feel of more 'volume' in the hair. I don't know if this is a knock-off, or if they may have changed their claims because it was a false claim to say that it created new hair growth. It works fine and does seem to have a volumizing effect, but for the price I would probably go with something else next time.

I have very fine hair and as I age it is thinning. My hairstylist recommended this years ago and it is worth the price. I have tried different products, but this by far provides the best results for fullness and volume. I only use a small amount and the bottle lasts a long time. Would recommend this for anyone that would like more volume and the appearance of thicker hair.

Due to menopause, my hair is thinning so I tried this shampoo. I've been using the product as instructed for 4 weeks now, and I don't see any improvement - if anything my hair looks thinner. I don't know if it's hormones or my hair reacting to the shampoo, so I'm conflicted on continuing to use the shampoo and give it more time. Also, since using this shampoo, my hair is extremely dry and frizzy, and no leave-in conditioner and anti-frizz product can tame it. Unfortunately, I'm NOT one of the lucky women who are experiencing good results with this product.
