This toy is so cool. You plug in your headphones and play the drums. Yes you can hear the person hitting the pad but its not as bad if you had a real drum set. This is 100% buy

Saw this first at a toy store on vacation in NC. The kids literally didn't want to leave the store bc of this and the piano. They immediately put it on their Christmas list and I was so happy to see it on Amazon! The kids (8 & 6yo) are definitely still enjoying it and when friends come over they play with it and think it's super cool! We bought the piano too! It's great it comes with headphones, so you they can be played without bithering others! Otherwise you do have to plug into a speaker, which I bought a cheap one off Amazon incase, but so far they like using the headphones. My only complaint is I didn't realize at the store the amount of wires, they kinda get in the way and make it so I don't really like leaving it out. I would love it if they could find a way to eliminate some of them. Also, storage, would be nice to have a case or something for this to fit into, I am storing both the drums and piano in a zipper bag, but would love something a little more functional. These are minor things I know, but wanted to note them.

Bought this for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. She doesn't really like it or play with it that much. The pedals have never worked and the headphones supplied with the kit are terrible. I gave it 4 stars because I sometimes hook it up to external speakers and enjoy playing around with it. I think it would be a great gift if they work out a few bugs. The color codes on the pads are an awesome idea.

Our young drummer was extremely pleased with this product. Personally, I was amazed at the quality of the sound it produced. It was much better than I expected. It provided several options for modifying the sound of each of the pads. Bottom line: we had a very happy grandson!

I got this for my seven your old grandson for Christmas. By the middle of January it was trashed. It made strange, clicking noises and would not work anymore. I’m really disappointed because this was not a cheap gift.

I cannot tell you how disappointed my 7 year old was that this drum set from “Santa” didn’t work. I felt so bad and how do you explain that to your child?! We tried everything, plugging it in, using batteries, nothing worked. It would play some background noise but when you hit the actual drum circles it wouldn’t play anything.

My son wanted drums for Christmas. This is the perfect set. It is small and does not take up space and best of all you can connect headphones es to it so they hear what they are playing but you do not!

My son loves this and my family liked his so much that the bought one too. My only complaint is that you have to use headphones or plug into a speaker to hear them. The headphones that came with it are not sturdy and they do not easily unfold. Otherwise great product with realistic sound

We didn’t receive an instruction booklet or the music playing colour coded book. I left messages to no reply. My son can use the drums but not in the manner intended.

This arrived in a box that had been opened and taped shut. When we opened it and assembled, the product had clearly been used and the headphones were broken with a shotty repair job. We got new headphones and cleaned it up and it works fine. The product itself works fine, just that specific unit experience was bad. Hopefully it was and/or is the only one!
