I bought two cranks for a very old casement window. The only issue I had was that I had to trim the plastic covers down to fit into the molding. Otherwise, they work great.

I have old Anderson casement windows and the previous owner removed the handles and the inner parts so I couldn't open my windows on my enclosed porch. I finally bought these, installed and voila! I can open them. These don't come with a handle but those were inexpensive. I recommend going to Anderson's site first and seeing which part you need then come back here. It's less expensive on Amazon.

Good replacement for a bad design. I've replaced several of these over the years all for the same design flaw. The appox 3/4" worm screw connects to the assembly via an approx 1/4" ball nipple. So the entire strain (stress and force) of operating the window is placed on that narrow piece. Almost designed to cause a failure. I've seen better designs, even one that was just a pull rod that also helped hold the window open. My next windows won't be Andersen.
