Adventure 100ml EDT Spray

Brought this aftershave as it is identical to another aftershave I use which has gone far too expensive, and is now discontinued. Great price and lovely scent.

DA was my second... Well, my third scent in life. My first was an Adidas I forget when I was 12. Then Lactose Red during my teens, but only when out-out. This guy was my first true everyday wearer. My buddy's, too. Clean, fresh, ubimposing scent that was almsot impossible to apply too much of, and importantly very affordable. One thing I particularly liked it was that it would develop across the day, and where the start would be very crisp and bright, the latter part would be softer and perhaps more fruity. Ten years on (ish), I still have a bottle in my collection, although it sees far less use these days. It's rather less natural or sophisticated than the likes of Prada L. R. Ocean or Bleu de Chanel, seemingly less well organised in its olfactory notes. Nevertheless, it's good enough and cheap enough to have become the scent I wear when I want to feel clean and put together but where another might be wasted. So I bought it for a friend's teenage son some for Christmas this year. Dude has recently got into more serious (if you can call it that at 15) dating efforts, and started to realise he's a stinky bundle of kidulthood who needs to take care of his personal hygiene if he's not to offend the senses of his beloved. So a £20 offer for 100 mL of something clean and inoffensive that he'd have to bathe in to be said to smell too strongly seemed like a good place to start his scent adventure. Pun not intended. So, clearly I don't think of this a five-star fragrance, but it is at least the very definition of a four-star one.

Presentation: 7/10 Box is fine, it's a standard box that looks good and is simple, unfortunately not like some other brands that have an unboxing experience that makes it stand out. For me the the real upside is the bottle, it's a simple shape that is easily to hold and spray on yourself. Some of these fragrance bottles are getting stupid with the shape, needing wired hand configurations to be able to spray on yourself but this one is great, no issues with the bottle size or shape. Scent: 9/10 I have a large collection and like to compare my new additions, had my wife and son blind smell this against some highly regarded designer fragrances and both preferred this scent. Performance 8/10 As expected at eau de toilette it was on my skin for 4-5 hours with a couple of feet projection that was noticed by a passer-by and highly complimented at about 3.5 hours into it's application. Would definitely buy it again for the scent profile and the fact it stands out from an overcrowded and generic fragrance market

Definitely a 'high end' smelling fragrance but at a great price. Reminds me a little of Boss Orange, but better! Very aromatic, orange citrus mixed with a woody/musk undertone. Found it was pleasantly strong at first, then mellowed with a reasonable lasting time for an Eau de Toilette. Totally the opposite to Davidoff Cool Water, which I also like as a much lighter fragrance so, good to mix things up a bit with this one. Think they've changed the bottle design so it no longer has the metal cover across the top.

Feels premium and travel-friendly. 🔍 Best For: Short outings, gym bags, or layering with a stronger base. Not ideal if you need all-day performance. Overall, it’s a pleasant fragrance with a great opening, but longevity holds it back. Worth considering if you value scent over staying power.
