It has an interesting history and has a unique look to it. I have a large collection of Case knives but did not want to spend the money on one without seeing if how I liked the model. In the past I have bought Rough Rider knives to check out different models and have been surprised and pleased with their quality. This Ridge Runner is pretty bad. The plastic on the handle is thin and has a hollow sound. The smaller blade is so tight I broke my thumbnail trying to open it. I finally pried it open with some scissors. Neither blade is sharp. I would say that it is what you’d expect for the price, except I’ve bought Rough Riders for that price and they were good knives. Buy a Rough Rider Sunfish if you want a bargain, or search for a Case or Great Eastern Cutlery model if you have the money to spend on a high quality model. Review: quality - The one I received was heavy, opens very smoothly, has great quality bone on handles, if you like the pic you will enjoy the knife if it is like the one I received! I 50 plus knives this is in my favorites!
