These are the best hearing aids I have ever seen used, and it ain't even close darling. My mother's $3,000 hearing aids went dead FOR THE SECOND TIME IN TWO YEARS, so I needed a cheap emergency solution before we we could get into the city for repairs. My dear grandfather always taught me it is expensive to be cheap, and I live by this rule. This is the one time I get to toss the rule out of window!!! I looked at the features of these hearing aids and thought it's too good to be true at $50!!! The volume control works effortlessly and is insanely easy to learn, even for my 86-year old mother. The sound canceling mode is absolute GENIUS!!! I used to have to say EVERYTHING two or three times for my mother to hear, especially with any background noise. No more background noise in noise canceling mode. My mother asked me TO TURN THE VOLUME DOWN. WHAT???? I started talking to her, AND SHE ASKED ME NOT TO SPEAK SO LOUD!! I had to turn them down again...they're on volume 2 of 5. And, she just asked me not to yell so loud reading her this review. I can't help it I'm so excited!!!!! Anybody who doesn't think these hearing aids are 1000 times better than any other hearing aid they've tried is just out to lunch. I read a review that complained about background noise in the car. Tap the middle button between the volume buttons on your right collar and enjoy noise canceling mode. These are absolutely positively the most dramatic improvement in my quality of life in years...with the exception of my new townhome in freaking paradise. But, they come close...AT $50. Details? The cords ro the rare buds are fully adjustable in an ingenue fashion that hides extra chord. The collar is elegant and very thin: an acceptable compromise for the quality of the devise. It's a dark grey/silver that's barely noticeable. The tradeoff for the quality of these devices is 5,000 times worth it. My mother is 86 and ain't goin' to no mo' fashion shoots!

We bought this for our 96 year old family friend. My wife is her POA/MPOA and our friend is hard of hearing. We tried other amplifiers from Amazon but they would get lost at the nursing home. This one went around her neck so she couldn't lose it, and it worked fine - until it developed a short and would not stay on. Very disappointed and happened right after the return time had expired.

No substitute for a real hearing aid. If a dog barks and these are in it can hurt my ears while I’m watching a show.

I have a hard time hearing the TV unless I turn the volume up to ear-slitting levels for anyone else in the room. I don't need "real" hearing aid to navigate daily activities. I bought this neck band amplifier and it solved the issue. Once on, it is adjustable in volume. I use one ear bud most of the time but when the program isn't as loud as I need it, I use both. I now can leave the TV set at 20 (out of 100) and everyone is happy.

Work for a bit then just stop working. Low quality sound. Look elsewhere.

I putchased this hearing amplifier (it is not a hearing aid) because I have experienced difficulty with other hearing aids and amplifiers falling out and getting lost. I really like the design and found that it was comfortable and easy to adjust. Obviously, when one of the earpieces falls out, it stays attached and it's easy to re-insert it. The controls on the unit are fairly straightforward and the unit held its charge for over fifteen hours with no problem. However - the noise filtering was virtually non-existing. At home watching television or listening to music, the sound came through clearly although sounds in the lower frequencies seemed to weaken or disappear. But with any background noise (lunch at a restaurant or riding in a car) the background came through as static and made any sort of normal listening difficult. I thought the designers did a good job on the ergonomics of the unit, but the audio capabilities could use some substantial improvement.

The other caregiver and I went in on this hearing amplifier for our 87 yr old client. As soon as she put them in, she said, "I can hear again, I can hear. I've got my life back!" And then she started crying. She's had many hearing amplifiers, some 10 X's more expensive, but none that work as well as these with easy fine clarity and no screeching sounds! In less than 3 months these hearing aid/amplifiers stopped charging. I contacting the company via email and they promptly responded and have already shipped a new set! Great customer service!

I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND AGAIN ANYMORE AND SINCE A ORDER MINE, I UNDERSTAND WELL, WATCH VIDEO, EXCHANGE WITH MY FAMILIES. …….. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE TROUBLE HEARING IN USA . AS NOTATION : 1010 WITH APPRECIATIONS +++++++++++
