EnerGel Kuro Shades of Peace, Retractable Liquid Gel Pen, Assorted Ink Colors, Pack of 6 (BL437PEAPF6)

Worked in restaurants for about 9 years. Never got my pens stolen until the week I bought these. I catch customers taking pictures of them all the time. Between work and school, I'm really picky about the pens I use, but these write amazing. They don't smear and the colors are soooo smooth and vibrant. I have all the different packs because I love them so much. I swear I even get better tips because of them, haha!

These are my favorite everyday pens. They write smoothly, don't leak, and have nice color options.

I love these “Shades of” Pentel pen collections I have all of them and use them according to what I’m writing and my mood for the day. The pen is comfortable to write with for pages. The quality of the writing is top notch and the ink never skips or smears. Each collection of colors is perfect. Highly recommend!

The photos were taken with the 1x apple Iphone camera setting and 0.5x apple iphone camera setting but one was in direct sunlight and the other was not. These pens are amazing quality on paper. Writing with them is very smooth and relaxing knowing they won’t smudge. The 0.7mm tip is nice for such pigmented pens but not my preferred tip size. I am glad to see however, that the color of the pens on the outside matches the color of the ink nicely. The ink quality is amazing. All the pens passed the smudge test with flying colors. I even tried to smudge the pen just as I lifted it from writing, leaving no time to dry and still no smudge. Although, as a precaution, the lighter color pens are easier to detect when there is a smudge. Now the look of the pens themselves remind me of papermate gel pens. The swirly lines on the outside do nothing for the tough pen exterior. If you clench your hand while writing, this pen will hurt. When writing or shaking the pen a bit you can hear the mechanics of the pen on the inside giving it a cheaper production feel. The click of the pen is very choppy and unsatisfying. Compared to the S • Gel Sharpie pen, it feels very cheap. It’s a shame such good quality ink is wasted on such shitty design. I would rather buy the refills to use in G-2 pens since they’re the same size tip. This product gets a 7/10 for the versatile and high quality ink.

I have loved gel pens for many years. These are smooth writing and the colors are vivid and fun. My former boss would have loved these too … I always encouraged his use of gel pens so I wouldn’t go blind trying to read his extremely poor penmanship!!! 😉

The colors are cute but I only wrote a couple of times and the ink started to fade.
