I very seldom give 5 star reviews, to get 5 stars it takes something that is either an exceptional value, is built as well as any other I have seen, or does its job exceptionally well. This one hits the last two. Build quality is excellent, it just works, and does not leak grease around the plunger rod like some cheap guns do. It also does its job really well, the locking tip is great (but is a little thicker than a standard tip so may not fit all zerks), the hose has a swivel so you don't have to spin the whole gun around to orient the locking lever on the tip to a usable position, and on top of that with the push of a button you can choose between pumping a high volume of grease at lower pressure (per pump) or a smaller amount of grease, at a much higher pressure (again, per pump). They got the little details right as well, the hose is as good as any I have seen, takes the pressure (I think up to 10,000 PSI) well without swelling yet is reasonably flexible. At first, I thought the price was plenty steep, as the dual pressure Alemite pistol grip grease gun is about 1/3 less in price, but if you were to buy the Alemite gun, then add a swivel and locking tip, you would be at pretty much the same price. The Alemite and LockNLube gun themselves seem to be about equal so far in terms of how well they work and durability. Buy the Alemite if you don't care for the locking tip, you can add a swivel if you want and still save a few $$. Buy the LockNLube if you want a locking tip. By the time you add the locking tip and swivel to the Alemite, you would spend just as much, and the LockNLube in my opinion has a slightly better hose, and also has a built in storage place for the hose tip (basically a grease zerk you lock the hose end into) to keep the end of the hose from flopping around and to keep the tip clean. As good of a grease gun as I have used, and the locking tip works great, but may not fit on every zerk, which is it's only real nit to pick.

This is what all grease guns aspire to be. Peak grease gun. The gun itself is high quality and smooth operating. The hose is high quality. The quick locking tip is a godsend for awkward fittings. Having the little storage nipple to create a loop from the hose works well too. I think this is a great item and it's good value for the money. Would buy again.

Great! Easy to use, solid construction. Fantastic product.

Fantastic machine. However, it was very difficult to prime though as the instructions aren't sufficient. Instructions need to be specific to the unit sold. The air release on top isn't a push button. It turns to expose a hole to release pressure. I suggest using someone unfamiliar with operation do testing and instructions.
