A handful of the blocks inside the box were dirty/mouldy! I think the wood was starting to rot. Some blocks were poorly finished too, very easy to splinter little hands so I returned them.

The blocks had a bit of chemical sour smell at the start. But we washed it and let it air and it got better. Paint quality is ok and my kid likes to play with it from time to time.

This block set is so great for little ones. There are so many ways to play and learn with the blocks and cards included. We use it for play as well as learning sessions. The blocks are a good size and very sturdy. I would buy again as gifts for others!
