I bought it as a gift and love it. For those saying it doesn't work, I almost said the same thing after reading the reviews and finding mine wasn't working either but I read the warning sticker which clearly stated to make sure ALL THE TABS ARE COMPLETELY SNAPED OTHERWISE TRIGGER WON'T WORK. I put the pieces together or so I thought but it wasn't shooting, I had to press hard all over area by area and could find 1 or 2 tabs that I thought were fully snapped but weren't, once ALL were FULLY in place it worked as a charm! Double check and triple check they are snapped. BUT once you put it together is almost impossible to break it apart, I tried and couldn't do it and was worried I could break a tab if I kept trying so I had to put it assembled in a gift bag instead of in the original box because it wouldn't fit anymore, a little weird since it might seam like if it was a used toy but I rather do that than break it while trying to break it apart.

Bought this for my 10yr old son’s birthday. Pros: Easy to assemble. Lightweight, great Minecraft theme. 6 Nerf N1 darts included. Cons: only uses NERF N1 DARTS, Compatible only with Nerf N Series blasters, cannot use universal darts in this crossbow. (Sucks when you have to stop mid nerf gun battle and find particular darts to be able to reload and use.) better purchase more. Crossbow does tend to jam, or misfires. Stings a little more when hit with these darts.

This toy works as advertised and my son loves it. Docking one start because we had to look up why it wouldn’t shoot at first. When putting it together, if you don’t click the pieces in fully so they snap into the plastic piece then it won’t allow you to shoot. You have to press down much harder than expected but it works fine after that.
