My Honest Review After Using DJI Osmo Mobile 7
I'm absolutely thrilled with my purchase of the DJI Osmo Mobile 7. After using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say this is one of the best smartphone gimbals I've owned. Here's what I love: Super smooth stabilization - even while walking or shooting moving subjects, my videos look ultra- stable and professional. Easy to use - setup was quick, and the magnetic phone clamp makes balancing simple every time. Portable & foldable design - it fits easily in my bag, perfect for travel and daily shooting. Great tracking - Active Track keeps my subject centered without me having to constantly adjust. Long battery life - it lasts through long shoots without needing a recharge. Whether I'm shooting family moments, vlogs, travel clips, or reels for social media, this gimbal dramatically improved the quality of my videos compared to handheld footage. Overall, worth every penny highly recommended for beginners and content creators alikel

Specify that it rotates only once not full 360°.
Ordered on 8 Nov and delivered on 9 Nov. The DJI Osmo Mobile 7P has great build quality and excellent 3-axis stabilization. Videos are smooth and professional-looking, even while walking. ActiveTrack works accurately, and the battery life is good. Lightweight, easy to use, and worth the price for mobile videography.

Okayish product..
Best if ur pairing it with iPhone.. androids?? I don't think so.. its laggy af if used with androids. Everything works as intended.. only choose if ur using pro max models.. everything else is just the same as the se variant..

Useless gimbal. Don't buy if using a top-heavy phone like Vivo X100 Pro
I bought this for the Vivo X100 Pro, a phone listed as "compatible" on the DJI site, but it's totally useless. When recording videos while walking there is a slight left and right sway continuously which makes it totally unusable. Also, the phone mostly rotates a bit to the left even while just holding the gimbal, and I need to either double-press the front trigger after every few minutes to reset the orientation, or rotate the grip to make the phone face forward. It's really frustrating. I have tried auto calibration in the DJI Mimo app, shifted the clamp position as far as possible (limited by the big camera module), removed the phone case, even used an older and lighter Oneplus Nord 2 phone (since the Vivo X100 pro is top-heavy), but no improvement. Don't know if there is a problem with this unit or I am missing something. The Vivo x100 pro weighs 225g, well within the 300g limit of the gimbal. It is also listed as compatible. It shouldn't be so difficult to have a stable phone. Don't buy this gimbal. Total waste of money.

Good product but a bit expensive
Great product. App provides a lot of options. These will be a learning curve if you want to master this. I find it bit expensive though.

I picked up the DJI Osmo Mobile 7 after upgrading from my old Osmo Mobile 6, mainly for its lighter weight and improved battery life. It’s a 3-axis gimbal designed for iPhone and Android users, with features like ActiveTrack for smooth following shots and a foldable design that’s perfect for on-the-go creators. I was excited about the built-in tripod and magnetic clamp that make setup a breeze. Pros: • Super lightweight at around 300g—10% lighter than the Mobile 6, so my arm doesn’t tire out as quickly during shoots. • Excellent 7th-gen stabilization that handles bumpy walks and quick pans without any jitter; footage looks pro-level. • Battery lasts up to 10 hours, which is a big upgrade—I’ve gone through full-day vlogs without needing a recharge. • The DJI Mimo app adds cool features like AI editing and gesture controls, making it fun for quick edits. Cons: • The app can be glitchy sometimes, like freezing during updates or not supporting 60fps shooting right away. • No built-in extension rod (that’s on the 7P model), so for higher angles, you’ll need to buy extra accessories. • Folding and unfolding takes a bit of practice to get right without accidentally turning it on or scratching your phone. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, mostly for YouTube shorts and travel vids with my Samsung Galaxy S24. The magnetic clamp snaps on securely without scratching, and Quick Launch lets me unfold it without removing the phone—way better than the Mobile 6. Stabilization shines on uneven terrain; I shot a hiking video, and it kept everything buttery smooth, way beyond what my phone’s built-in OIS can do. Battery held up great—after 2 hours of mixed use, it was still at full. Compared to the Mobile 6, the controls feel more intuitive with the new zoom slider, and the anti-slip grip makes it comfy to hold. I tested ActiveTrack on moving subjects, and it followed accurately without losing focus. At $149.99, it’s a fantastic value for anyone stepping up their mobile videography game. It’s pricier than budget gimbals, but the build quality and features make it worth it over cheaper knockoffs. I’d recommend this to vloggers, TikTokers, or hobbyists who want professional-looking footage without lugging heavy gear. If you’re a total beginner or need the extension rod, consider the 7P instead. Overall, the Osmo Mobile 7 has made my content creation so much smoother and more enjoyable. It’s not flawless, but the improvements over the previous model make it a solid upgrade that I’ll keep using.
