Great knife worth twice the price.
This is really a great quality knife that punches well above its price. Smooth action, great blade shape and very sharp. The knife is blade heavy, but this really aids in positive deployment. The finger grove in the blade really gives you leverage over the blade for cutting or defensive actions. The flipper provides a positive feel and acts as a guard in the open position. This knife is large but not difficult to carry and really feels great in the hand. Highly recommended.

good not perfect just know its big and d2 rusts
unfourtunatly returning because of my 2 negative points the worst being mine arrived rusted seems the manufacturer doesn't use packing grease to keep the d2 from coroding which is unfourtunate because there is a lot of it like A LOT huge knife .15 stock and will say mine at least was perfectly sharp. the other negative is that the handle material is listed as g10 but feels and sounds more like 3d printed plastic which also is unfourtunate because of the hollow sound it makes when the very heavy blade with better action than my 200$ vipers and spydercos have dead falls shut. the plus side if your looking at it is the knife is sharp bearing action is stellar litterally one of the best iv seen centering dead on lock up tight with 25% engagement solid lock geometry I would be cautious with hard use because liner has the slightest flex. may want to flare the lip on the pocket clip a bit if you decide to keep yours its tight and sturdy but a little thin and doesn't quite ramp on a blue jeans seam probably gonna take my refund and get the titanium strider clone they make because even low tier titanium would feel better than the plastic but I truly respect the machining quality. 1 nit pick which is a bit unfair for a 30$ knife is the hardware isnt countersunk but if you want a big scary knife that's razor sharp super fast sturdy and unless you try cold steel tests on it with regular use should last forever its a win just remember she's a big un

Premium Quality at a Great Price!
This is a big pocket knife, which I knew when I purchased it and I have to say it exceeded my expectations! The knife feels very solid built and like a premium knife that’s worth a lot more than the $26.99 I paid for it! The action is very snappy and smooth and locks up rock solid! It drops shut on release of the liner lock! There’s some nice jimping on the flipper the back of the blade and the back spacer where it hits your palm when using the flipper! There’s a large finger choil so you can choke up for power behind the blade! It’s a cool design and the fit and finish is excellent with the liners inset in the G10 so you can’t see them! Ergonomics are great and I really like the black with gray hardware and the orange back spacer! It comes with a tool to fit the unique screws to work on the knife! This is an incredible value and I really like it! Loved this knife so much I bought it in every color!

Great Ergonomics and Quality!!!
This knife surpised me. It's better than I had originally thought. For me the ergonomics are great. I have large hands. Altough this knife is not heavy it is still very well made. You can feel the quality in the action. I think a lot of people rate these knives before they are broken in. The first thing I do is oil them up. With this knife that drastically improved the action. I wipe of the excess oil off and just work the action over and over until I'm satified. I always use a heavy rag while moving the action to protect my hands. Just doing this drastically improves the action and I really like this knike more than most. This will help getting use to the knife and how it works. This knife is a good value and if you have large hands it fits and operates great!!! Caution very sharp.

Custom fasteners are the worst
For starters, I'm not a knife guy. I've owned one nice Benchmade and quite a variety of cheapo knives. But I AM a mechanical engineer which qualifies some of my comments. All in all, a nice knife at a cheap price. I really like the mechanical design, and it works nicely now that I've taken it apart, cleaned it, and put a spot of grease on the bearings (they were completely dry). The bearings themselves are disappointing. There are two of them, one on each side of the blade at the pivot, and they consist of tiny, hardened balls embedded in plastic discs. These are not rolling bearings. The tiny balls are very smooth and they reduce the contact area to lots of little points so that reduces the sliding friction. But don't think of them as rolling elements, because they're not. For evidence that they're not rolling, on my knife the tiny balls have gouged tracks into the opposing metal surface. Rolling contact shouldn't do that. I think the assembler over-torqued all of the fasteners on my knife. One of the screws holding my knife together was actually cross threaded from the factory - which sort of blew my mind until I noticed that I nearly cross threaded one myself putting it back together. The threads are so small and fine that they probably cross thread them all the time, and just torque 'em down hard and hope the buyer doesn't want to take it apart. But you really need to take it apart and clean it and lubricate it to get it running smooth. I absolutely hate the screws. They look fancy and I guess that's nice. But they just make the whole process of disassembly and reassembly much harder than it should be. The tool that comes with the knife is too small to be useful without a pair of pliers to grip it with. The tool and the screws are both very hard - and I like that. But please just give me torx head screws. Please? One other thing is that the knife is squeaky. It doesn't bother me but I thought I'd comment on the cause. The ball detent that holds the knife closed is the culprit. You can probably stop the squeak by polishing the surface that the detent slides on. Also, it will probably polish itself with enough open and close cycles. I don't regret buying it, and I didn't spend any time in this review talking about its good points - and it does have plenty of good points. If you like how it looks and are willing to do some minimal work to tune it up you'll probably like this knife quite well. It's sturdy (despite the "bearings") and sharp out of the box, and it does look quite nice. It's priced about right, I think.
