Lovely read to continue the Wild Robot. Thoroughly enjoyed by my 9yr old!

This series of books is great, my 10year old son loves them.

At the end of the previous book, Roz the robot has to leave the island for repairs. After she is repaired, she is delivered to a farm. The owner, Mr Shareef shows her around and tells her the things she needs to do. Roz quickly makes friends with Jaya and Jad, Mr Shareef's children. She also forms friendships with the cows and protects them from wolves. Her son Brightbill arrives on his way to the annual migration. The children see the reunion and at first Roz thinks they will tell on her, but instead they help her think of a way to escape. When Brightbill returns in the spring, she escapes with him. The encounter all sorts of danger, including wolves, a wild goat, hailstones, hunters, airships and a difficult journey across sea but none of those manage to destroy her. After all that, Roz separates from Brightbill so she can get on a train to be driven to the city. She encounters Recos 4, 5, and 6 and leads them through an epic chase through the city. When it is all over Dr Molovo, her creator, meets her. After a brief explanation Roz's mind is moved to a new body. Dr Molovo gives her and Brightbill a lift back to the island. I didn't have a favourite part in the book, but it was quite good to read. I read both of the Wild Robot books but I prefer the first one because it's more exciting. All of the action in this book happens at the end and when it's over it's finished too quickly for my liking. The earlier parts are about Roz and the children but in my opinion they're not as good as the action bits with the Recos. Still, I quite enjoyed reading this book.

My son absolutely loves this series so would highly recommend.

The book is amazing . My daughter finished it in a few hours she liked it so much . Would recommend you to get this book ( after you get the first one ) .

Une suite prenante, émouvante, qui nous rappelle au combien l'amour et le respect sont les seules valeurs qui peut sauver notre monde. A mettre entre tout les mains d'enfants... et même d'adultes ! Ce livre m'aura fait versé des larmes (je suis adultes !) Une fois lu le Tome 1, et enchainé ce Tome 2, on ne peut qu'enchainer sur le dernier de la trilogie :)
