I was excited to get this band. I have been envious of the bay band since my pixel watch 2 came with a white silicone strap. I have used nylon bands in the past and love the comfort they bring. When I opened the package the blue color looked great and the fabric looked nice and felt good too. I was so excited to attach it onto my pixel watch 2. After detaching the factory OEM band I attached the bottom part of the strap first and then the top part. The bottom one clicked but the bottom one did not. They both felt like they were there fine though and felt secure. Wearing the watch strap the material felt great. I was so happy to use this and wear it for a day and it felt very comfortable. To me this felt like a great alternative to the official google fabric bands. Until it came time to take it off. I ordered other watch bands as well and when I went to remove this watch band I had issues with removing the band completely. The bottom band came off with no issue. I just pressed down and slid it off. The top band would not come off. I also have my fingernails a little long so I made sure I pressed down all the way and it would not slide off. I have been working on this issue on and off for the past two days. It’s caused me such grief and headache wondering if the issue is my watch or the band that I stopped wearing my watch completely. From what I could tell after pressing down it looked like part of the plastic connector to the band was sticking up a little. I theorized maybe I could find something to push inside to unlodge it. I tried pulling and pushing it back and forth with my hands to no luck. I started getting very desperate. I decided that I was done with this and just got a pair of needle nose pliers. It made a slight mark but I pulled enough to press down and slide off the top strap manually and as easy as it should have been. I thought okay this isn’t maybe the end of the world. I decided to reverse the strap order. The bottom one came off with no issue. The top one even reversed had issues. I looked closely at the metal attachments and they did look like they are a little crooked. I was starting to panic thinking about the same issue again. I won't be able to remove the top part of the strap. I just went ahead and used needle nose pliers again on the watch strap connector but this time it broke the connector plastic part. I wanted to make sure that this was not a physical damage defect with my pixel watch 2 mechanical link slot. I went ahead and after removing the blue fabric band to attach the OEM band again. Everything attached fine and I was able to remove it without any issues. I am not saying that you will get a watch band with a defect metal connector but mine apparently was. I am extremely disappointed because I really loved the fabric of this band, the feel, and the color. I would caution you if you order this to be extremely carefully attaching the bands. And also if you do get unlocked and get it stuck do not panic. Do not do anything to damage the watch or the case. Try a pair of smaller pliers to see if you can get it unstuck and remove the band without damaging the band if possible. The listing states that it uses stainless steel lug but it is very different compared to the factory OEM stainless steel. I cannot fully recommend this due to the issue I had with mine. I hope the company takes a look at the stainless steel lug placement and quality control to make sure in the future customers don’t get bands that have slightly misplaced stainless steel lugs.

I wanted this band so bad! It basically just colored Velcro.

This wrist strap fits my pixel watch 2 perfectly and is much more comfy than the provided silicone straps. This version has a very simple on/off motion, and has Velcro to fit the watch to your wrist rather than a traditional clasp. So far (about a month) it is working great, no reduction in 'grip". I would definitely buy this again.
