I live these zips for making large craft bags, not only sturdy but a big statement too.

We bought two of these zips. We have a heavy weight plastic dome over our swimming pool which opens up with a long zip. Over the winter the backing on the zip disintegrated and at the same time the company that supplied it went out of business so we have been looking for a replacement. These marine zips have heavy weight teeth which look very durable and a polyester type backing. We have bought some extra tape to sew along the sides of each to made them wider and we plan to rivet them into the sides of the dome -one at the top and the other at the bottom and fingers crossed we hope that this solution will be successful

How can a hard-wearing zip just snap? Just put the zip in used once and snap.

This is the biggest most ridiculous zipper in the history of all zippers! And I live that It is! It was bought for a cosplay. Ended up being too long, but I just cut it to the length I needed.
