I used this lotion 2x a day for about 2 weeks and now I am down to 1x a day or even every other day. My feet were rough and peeling like crazy as they do all the time. I had a Dr prescribe me something years ago that kind of worked on the peeling, but the cost of continued use and the small amount prescribed at a time made it a pain to use. The AmLactin just worked so much better and the size of this bottle will last for a while so the value is much better. I couldn't be happier. It seemed to absorb just fine. The only caution would be that when I was using it 2x a day and put it on at night and then showered in the morning, the bottoms of my feet were very slick getting into the shower for a couple minutes. As the title of my review suggest my feet went from somewhat of an embarrassment to something I have no problem having out in the open. The skin looks so much better and feels so much softer now. I will definitely keep using it. As far as the smell people are reporting, I can smell a slight odor when I apply it, but it's on my feet so the only time I smell it is when I apply it. I wash my hands after applying it so I never smell it again. For me, it's not a strong smell even when applying it. I know others have said it's like cat pee and ammonia and it's real strong. It's a unique smell, I don't own cats so I have no idea if that's the same or not, but again, I don't think it's that strong. Maybe if I had to use it on my arms or something like that I may smell it more and be more self-conscious about it, but the results for me I'm pretty sure I'd still use it either way.

Amazingly GOOD!! I’m unsure if my 4 year old is ok to use this product, but I was so desperate. It’s been 8 days since I started using the product and his skin is so so much better! It kinda stings my hands but he doesn’t feel bothered by it. To me it kinda smells like a hair salon chemical? Like maybe dye? But it may just be me. I will be using regular moisturizer and alternate because of it. Just unsure of it being safe. Especially because of how well it worked! Because I’ve tried everything since he was a newborn and asked doctors and haven’t gotten any answers. So I went to tic tok and seen a “doctor on there recommend this one along with many others. Decided to try this and see how it went! No regrets 😭

This lotion works really well for extremely dry skin. It can tingle a little when you first apply it (especially if your skin is very dry or freshly shaved), but that’s normal with lactic acid. The feeling goes away quickly, and it lets you know it’s working. It leaves my legs and body feeling very smooth and deeply moisturized. The combination of lactic acid and ceramides really helps improve skin texture over time without needing a separate scrub. My skin feels softer and more protected throughout the day. It absorbs well and doesn’t feel overly greasy, and the moisture lasts a long time. A small amount goes a long way, so the bottle should last. There isn’t really a taste factor since it’s a body lotion, but I recommend washing your hands after applying like with any skincare product. Overall, this is a great moisturizer for dry, rough skin and definitely makes your legs and body feel much better with consistent use.

Our dermatologist suggested this for my son’s super dry and scaly hands. We really like how it feels and it cleared them up. Problem is it has a weird smell. Also like a faint ammonia smell. Doesn’t bother my son but I don’t like the smell! But it works so there is that.

To begin with,I have a genetic skin disorder called icyhosis and some of my family have it. Since using this product I have for ONCE in my life a winter without clawing my skin raw from itching and actually cleared up in 85-90% of my body and I would have been happy with 50%. The stinging you get is normal and the slight smell is normal and I'm a forever customer from here on as all my other stuff I've been using is going in the garbage that's how much I trust this product...only wishes I took pics before and present.

I don’t know if it works

Inmiddels gebruik ik deze lotion ruim een week nu voor mijn door de jaren heen beschadigde, schilferige, droge en vooral dunne huid. Zoals ik al las staat deze lotion bekend om weer volume terug te kunnen brengen in de huid. Het hydraterende van deze lotion werkt vanaf dag één, en dit tweede effect wacht ik de komende tijd af. Twee flessen is prima om het lang genoeg te proberen in ieder geval. De lotion is mild, zowel in het gezicht als op het lichaam, trekt compleet in in een redelijke tijd en gemakkelijk te gebruiken.

Only problem is the smell!
