Looks far more expensive than it is, and works a treat!
This device looks stylish and has completely removed the dangerous heat build up I was experiencing around my A/V amplifier. Original temperatures of 40C+ have been reduced, with minimal noise, down to 32C. Highly recommended if you value your electronics!

Aircom T10
A great product that really works. Easy to set up (see you tube). Today I listened to DAB tuner radio through my AVR. Firstly without the T10, then on after 1/2 hour I switched the cooler on, my AVR temperature had reached 114 degrees. Took only 15/20 minutes and the T10 had the temperature down to 80 degrees. The air cooler works well needless to say I am very pleased and happy to give it 5 stars. Yes be warned it has an American plug but adapters are easily available.

So Far So Good.
After waiting what seemed like an age for my T10 to arrive from America I got an e-mail from Evri to say my box had been left on my doorstep (why not at least ring my bell or knock on the door?). Very nice box and fancy padding to protect the device was a good start, but upon opening the box and discovering the power supply/wall wart had no UK plug put the dampers on that. A quick call to my well travelled neighbour brought him round with a selection of plug adapters that would likely as not suit any plug ever invented anywhere in the world! So I set about installing everything, the plan was to place the T10 atop my Yamaha 3060 and place my Marantz UD-8004 atop the T10. After much jigging about I got everything where it should be but was rather miffed that the two rear feet of the Marantz were overhanging the T10 by a fair margin which meant I had to shift it forward a tad which looks a bit funny when viewed from the front but hey ho.....I don't sit & stare at my Hi-Fi gear all day long. So far so good, I then plugged everything back in and waited for the T10 to light up but nothing, zilch. Maybe I need to press a button I thought but so doing did nothing, it was dead.....or so I thought. Everything else switched on fine but not the T10 so after a little head scratching and a re-read of the excellent manual (no Chinglish here folks) I decided to check the fuse in the borrowed (since gifted) universal adapter. Aha.....it was blown so I inserted a new 5amp fuse and plugged it back in and immediately the fans started to work.....EUREKA. Having checked around various Hi-Fi fora for a temperature setting that would be suitable for my set up I settled on 30 degrees centigrade. This I quickly realised was a tad low so reset it to 35 c. I initially set it to run at speed 3 of the six available and that was pretty audible at what I would call reasonable volume but was totally inaudible later on listening to Hawkwind's Space Ritual at high volume (-15dB). This I later revised to speed 2 and that was much better. I'm right now listening to some Wes Montgomery jazz at -50dB (which is very quiet) and I can barely hear the fans when they kick in so no problems there. At the moment I have it on the 'Auto' setting but I intend to go over the manual again and try it on the 'Smart' setting as I believe that is better. It's only one day old but I cannot find fault with it (though it loses a start for the stupid American plug) but if anything negative shows up then I'll return to this review and do an update but to be honest, there's not much that can go wrong as there's so few components. BTW, I decided to leave the device on 24/7 even when my Hi-Fi gear is switched off as it uses virtually no juice when the fans are still, just the minimum power for the LCD display. In fact that was a good move on my part as I turned off all my gear last night to watch the election results coming in on the TV and even though all was switched off the T10 kept intermittently turning on for a few moments afore going off again, this carried on for almost an hour! Clearly there was residual heat coming from the heatsinks in the amp that was wanting to get out so bear this in mind folks and allow it to run after you turn off your amp. One minor gripe is the actual temperature sensor probe in the unit, it is way off whack. My 2 temperature gauges in my sitting room both showed 21c this morning yet the T10 (not run since last night) read 24c. As I say, a minor gripe but one that ought to be considered when setting up the unit as 3c is not inconsiderable.

Highly recommended for keeping your AVR cool
Highly recommended for keeping an AVR cool. I use the aircom T10 with my Denon x4700h. I found running the fans at 50% speed was Perfect.

A great unit and does an excellent job of keeping my Marantz cool. I would have liked a trigger for automatic on. This fan is well with it for the purpose of keeping my Amp cool and is also very quiet. Love it
